This is a campaign built for people who care about the table, not just the game. A consistent, mature group will make the story sing. If that’s what you’re looking for—step forward.
D&D Experience (years, preferred roles/classes): almost a year but I’ve played at several tables and am in a couple other long term campaigns and very dedicated to collaboration!
Character Idea (brief concept): I have a Chronurgy wizard I’m comfortable playing, but I’m open to flexing as needed! She’s just an orphan with abandonment issues who would do anything for the few people she counts as friends/family
What makes a great D&D campaign in your view?: ROLEPLAYYYY and collaboration, showing as much interest and curiosity towards everyone’s character in the way you do your own. Exploring, discovering, and building something TOGETHER- having fun and being able to be silly while also being able to handle the serious stuff.
What do you want from a group or DM?: a place where we all support each other and take genuine interest in each others characters, stories, and worlds. A place where you feel okay to ask for something and the other person also feels okay to say no (cuz that’s so valid)
Any content limits or access needs?: Content involving SA is my only hard limit
Are you available Mon or Tues @ 6PM EST weekly?: I would prefer tuesdays but I am available both
Do you have or are willing to use TaleSpire?: I’m gonna be honest I don’t know what that is but I’m definitely willing, I’m always down to use or learn a new interface
Preferred campaign module - ex: Curse of Strahd, Tomb of Annihilation, Decent into Avernus, etc.: I’ve never done an official module (minus like two-three sessions of icespire) only really homebrew campaigns so far!
discord: my discord is moon_bunni_ if you’d like to add me there to talk more over message or voice! Thank you!
D&D Experience (years, preferred roles/classes) 5, prefer full casters but also love fighter
Character Idea (brief concept) so many. I have a Firbolg Steelhawk, a Bugbear Artificer, an Aasimar Monk, etc. Since I have an idea for any class, I'd prefer to round out the party once an image forms.
What makes a great D&D campaign in your view? memorable moments and a sense of progression -- the Journey.
What do you want from a group or DM? collaboration and commitment
Any content limits or access needs? no
Are you available Mon or Tues @ 6PM EST weekly? I would prefer Monday. Tuesday is a possibility if everyone else wants Tuesday.
Do you have or are willing to use TaleSpire? I've never used it before, but I can pick it up quick.
Preferred campaign module - ex: Curse of Strahd, Tomb of Annihilation, Decent into Avernus, etc. Tomb of Annihilation sounds most interesting to me. I will be constantly in fear for my life lol
8 yearsboth as a player and dm. I love playing wizards but am open to playing anything. I've never really played a Tiefling before and have been wanting to.
Character Idea (brief concept)
It honestly depends on the campaign we play! I'm not often one to make the character outside of knowing the world first. I'm willing to fill holes the party to keep the party balanced.
What makes a great D&D campaign in your view?
A group of players that respect each other, their dm, and aren't just awful people...also when the dm really cares about their world/campaign
What do you want from a group or DM?
I am willing too, but would prefer to be a player for the time being.
Any content limits or access needs?
I'm not a fan of cannibalism in games, but for games like Strahd I'm willing to look beyond what makes me uncomfortable for the sake of the narrative.
Are you available Mon or Tues @ 6PM EST weekly?
Yup. There is a chance that Mondays may become difficult for me as I have once monthly meetings for a board that I am on that tends to start at that time, but they often only last for 15 minutes.
Do you have or are willing to use TaleSpire?
I do and I am
Preferred campaign module - ex: Curse of Strahd, Tomb of Annihilation, Decent into Avernus, etc.
I'm on board for any! I've always wanted to play Strahd and have a pc from a previously unfinished Avernus game who is an Eladrin Druid
D&D Experience (years, preferred roles/classes): Brand-spankin new but seem to fit right in with the other group I'm part of so far. Once a week is too seldom, so I'm branching out :) As for classes, preferably Fighter or warlock but with a twist.
Character Idea (brief concept): Mounted fighter tank i.e. eldritch knight or an updated cavalier, with the flavor being bent to the theme of the campaign (or Pact of the chain warlock, should that fit the party comp better)
What makes a great D&D campaign in your view? Still learning. That being said: party character dynamics, creative problem solving, and a solid balance of power vs challenge where progression (both levels/lootand actual character development) feels earned but not sparse
What do you want from a group or DM? A consistent group that feels somewhat like a quintessential rpg party (i.e. not having joke characters). Being personable out-of-character. And good dynamic rp to play off of since I'm still pretty fresh. From DM specifically: clarity and fairness, being well-prepared, balancing the party's individual stories and their connection to the overarching plot
Any content limits or access needs? Hopefully nothing heinously gratuitous.
Are you available Mon or Tues @ 6PM EST weekly? Yes. May have to slide in right at start time one or two days per month during the summer from working late, but that is very rare.
Do you have or are willing to use TaleSpire? Not sure what that is but if it's free I'm game. Edit: gf has it already to share so definitely yes
Preferred campaign module - ex: Curse of Strahd, Tomb of Annihilation, Decent into Avernus, etc. Other run I'm in is madness plague/eldritch horror theme so would prefer something a tad different but not terribly picky. The people ultimately make or break, rather than the setting.
D&D Experience (years, preferred roles/classes): 1 1/2 years, most of that time as DM (promise not to rules lawyer). I'm debating on a few (which may change if multiclassing is available) fighter, rogue, wizard, or artificer.
Character Idea (brief concept): I have three characters i can think of. First: Zyrala, Minotaur(flavored as a half-minotaur, no stat changes) of giant foundling that recently left her adoptive clan of Cloud Giants to rejoin modern civilization. Her reasoning was to seek out her origins, as there weren't many like her. Second: Cinder, a fire genasi from the City of Brass within the Fire Elemental Plane (if applicable in the world). They left, or rather fled, due to conflicts rising between the fire plane and the hells. Third: Bilge, an Orc that fits the gruff but jolly "old" man archetype, has retired as a soldier after suffering a severe injury to his left arm. He makes his living as a local butcher, settling down and having a family. But something within him longs to fill the void left from being forced to retire.
What makes a great D&D campaign in your view? Communication, collaboration, intense moments, and an interesting world.
What do you want from a group or DM? For the group; I like collaborative roleplays and tension that naturally builds when a mishmash of characters are brought together for whatever reason. Those emotional and intense moments between characters that leave the others with baited breath. From the DM; Aside from the standard stuff, I see a dm that is open to ideas from the players whether its items they would like to eventually have or adjustments to their backstory.
Any content limits or access needs? No open descriptions or references to SA
Are you available Mon or Tues @ 6PM EST weekly? Either are good for me
Do you have or are willing to use TaleSpire? I haven't heard of it, but am willing to check it out!
Preferred campaign module - ex: Curse of Strahd, Tomb of Annihilation, Decent into Avernus, etc. No preference really. Funnily enough I haven't played any modules, all homebrew worlds lol
Age (18+ only) [Yes/No answers only, do not share exact age.]
Yes
Location & Time Zone
Pennsylvania, EST
D&D Experience (years, preferred roles/classes)
Have never played, but have been reading up on the rule books as I wanted to start my own campaign but also wanted to gain some experience as a player too. Once I get hands on experience, I am a quick learner and accept any feedback!
Character Idea (brief concept)
A seldom monk who is on their independent study trip to study something within the lore of the world
What makes a great D&D campaign in your view?
A well balance between all aspects of D&D, but being able to really get lost in the world and feel like I am one with the character in the world making their actions
What do you want from a group or DM?
For a DM: Being able to deliver stories that capture me and my mind that make me want to explore every inch of the world (just like I do in video games)
For a group: People that feel the same or who also want to go on adventures exploring every inch of the world. Really, thinking about doing the side quests first and then the main quest.
Any content limits or access needs?
As it stands, there are no limits or needs. Things could come up during play, but I would be sure to communicate that in the moment.
Are you available Mon or Tues @ 6PM EST weekly?
Yes
Do you have or are willing to use TaleSpire?
Never used it, but always love finding and using new programs and such
Preferred campaign module - ex: Curse of Strahd, Tomb of Annihilation, Decent into Avernus, etc.
No preference really. I always get caught up in home-brew worlds, but would love to explore different campaign modules!
Age (18+ only) [Yes/No answers only, do not share exact age.] Yes
Location & Time Zone Alberta MST
D&D Experience (years, preferred roles/classes) I have been playing for about 25 yrs. Started playing with 2nd edition
Character Idea (brief concept) I have a few different ideas Air genashi Bladesinger, Herangon Barb/Bloodhunter, Shadar Kai rogue
What makes a great D&D campaign in your view? When all the players and the Dm are having a great time building a story. To be challenged in all aspects of the game.
What do you want from a group or DM? Teamwork, communication and balance
Any content limits or access needs? no
Are you available Mon or Tues @ 6PM EST weekly? Tuesdays are me only availabilty
Do you have or are willing to use TaleSpire? don't have it, but could get it
Preferred campaign module - ex: Curse of Strahd, Tomb of Annihilation, Decent into Avernus, etc. No preference on a module. Honestly like homebrew campaigns
D&D Experience (years, preferred roles/classes): I've DM'd a few sessions, but I'm still fairly new.
Character Idea (brief concept): I've always wanted to play a Barbarian, but I'm open to any role that's needed in the group. Character would be sort of comedic/serious.
What makes a great D&D campaign in your view? Right balance of story and combat.
What do you want from a group or DM? Memorable encounters and story.
Any content limits or access needs? No limits for me.
Are you available Mon or Tues @ 6PM EST weekly? Monday would be great, but if Tuesday would be better for everyone else, that would work.
Do you have or are willing to use TaleSpire? I don't have talespire, but I'm willing to try it.
Preferred campaign module - ex: Curse of Strahd, Tomb of Annihilation, Decent into Avernus, etc.: I'm down for any module honestly.
Discord: trousers6857 if any questions come up. Feel free to message me.
Age (18+ only) [Yes/No answers only, do not share exact age.] Yes
Location & Time Zone: Newfoundland/ Newfoundland time zone
D&D Experience (years, preferred roles/classes): i have played a couple games before and im familiar with the macanics, i just may be a bit rusty and slow at the start.
Character Idea (brief concept): off the top of my head id like to play a druid, not sure on class but probably dragonborn or teifling. Usually i try stoic character but they always turn out a little silly so maybe i will lean into that.
What makes a great D&D campaign in your view? : one where the DM and Players are both enjoying themselves, even if not the way inteded at the start.
What do you want from a group or DM? : id just like to get along with everyone honestly.
Any content limits or access needs?: not that i can think of, tho sometimes i can be a little slow on the uptake.
Are you available Mon or Tues @ 6PM EST weekly?: absolutly
Do you have or are willing to use TaleSpire?: i havent used it before but i jave used other sites similiar, so im excited to try it.
Preferred campaign module - ex: Curse of Strahd, Tomb of Annihilation, Decent into Avernus, etc.: i dont really have one, most games ive played have either been completly homebrew or a mix.
Im fairly easy going, but sometimes i can get too loud, tho i try and whatch myself when playing as i dont want to talk over anyone or take the spotlight off anyone. Dont be afraid to tell me if i do something wrong tho! Also sorry for any spelling mistakes, im on my phone ATM and my keyboard sucks.
Preferred Name: Marc (Discord midenginedmightymouse)
Age (18+ only) [Yes/No answers only, do not share exact age.] Yes
Location & Time Zone: Florida (EST)
D&D Experience (years, preferred roles/classes) ~3 years now, I've played mostly Monk, and I'm currently playing a Paladin, Warlock, and Cleric for other campaigns; ultimately, I like to choose a class based on my ability scores, the storyline, and what would best complement the team.
Character Idea (brief concept): I like to create well-rounded characters with internal conflicts, weaknesses, and flaws. When I level up, I upgrade based on my recent experiences vs building a "broken" character. At the moment, I have a female Yuan-ti Bladesong character that dances like Elaine on "Seinfeld".
What makes a great D&D campaign in your view? Team chemistry, including with the DM.
What do you want from a group or DM? Respect for one another and team chemistry.
Any content limits or access needs? No
Are you available Mon or Tues @ 6PM EST weekly? Yes, both evenings
Do you have or are willing to use TaleSpire? Do not have, but willing to use
Preferred campaign module - ex: Curse of Strahd, Tomb of Annihilation, Decent into Avernus, etc.: no preference because every story will be unique based on the DM's style and the team's make up and ability to collaborate; I've either played or am playing Eberron, Spelljammers, and Tyranny of Dragons campaigns

Are you available Mon or Tues @ 6PM EST weekly? Yes, both evenings
Do you have or are willing to use TaleSpire? Do not have, but willing to use
