🗓️ The Games
🎠Tuesday 8:00PM EST – “Lords of the Painted Hour" City Adventure | Criminal Underground | Heists | Masquerade Balls | Secret Societies Think Ocean’s Eleven meets Dishonored meets Baldur’s Gate 3. You’re not the hero this city asked for, but maybe the one it deserves. There’s glamor, danger, betrayal, and a lot of masks—literal and figurative.
🖤 Friday 8:00PM EST – “Dirgebourne” Noir Horror | Monster of the Week | Death Cults | Haunted Memories | Tragic Choices Inspired by The Last of Us, Bloodborne, and Witcher 3. You’re a survivor in a crumbling world of gothic decay, fighting monsters with fangs, claws, and trauma. Moral ambiguity and quiet heroics are key.

Pronouns:
Game Preference: (Tuesday, Friday, or both)
What you’d like to play: (Class, vibes, anything you're craving)
How your character fits the tone: Keep it grounded, story-focused. No anime protagonists or "just here for chaos" types. We're building something real together.
Also note:
Certain species, spells, and magic items are restricted for story balance and immersion.
We’re loosely using 5e rules, adjusted to prioritize narrative, character growth, and group fun.
This is a team sport. Be supportive, not combative. Think Marvel’s Guardians, not PvP Overwatch.
What you’d like to play: I have few ideas for characters. Air Genasi Bladesinger, Shadar Kai Soulknife, or Harengon Barb/blood hunter
How your character fits the tone: Each one would bring a different role to the group. Each character is different and fills a style of play in all aspects
What you’d like to play: (Class, vibes, anything you're craving)
For Tuesday, I think a disgraced noble who made a pact with a patron wanting revenge on those who made him fall, possibly a Shadar-kai. So a Warlock or a Bard of the College of Lore Shadar-Kai
For Friday, a Shifter Ranger could be interesting, whose intent is much like the Withcer, money, but also protecting their land.
How your character fits the tone: Keep it grounded, story-focused. No anime protagonists or "just here for chaos" types. We're building something real together.
I think each character, based on the ideas from above, could add interesting narratives to the world. However, if I learn more about the world before starting, I would tailor the character to fit a more specific tone or element of the world. Though the disgraced noble for Tuesday does sound like it could be fun to play with in that world.
What you’d like to play: (Class, vibes, anything you're craving)
A human or orc fighter, an local mafia enforcer, whose intimidating presence strikes fear into those he's after, but a heart if gold to those he deems loyal. I have a few other concepts but this is the main one I'd love to play.
How your character fits the tone: Keep it grounded, story-focused. No anime protagonists or "just here for chaos" types. We're building something real together.
Fits well with the noir theme, but also has room for character development, once we know a little more about the world I can tie it really well into the campaign, who doesn't need some muscle for protection or a heist.
Discord Handle: JHSteiger Pronouns: He/Him Game Preference: (Tuesday, Friday, or both) Tuesday What you’d like to play: Kenku Rogue How your character fits the tone: I tend to stay in the background and observe before I act. Most people want to rule whether that me a city block, a city or a country, but not me. I wish to influence those that rule.
Discord Handle: Whoopsieee Pronouns: She/Her Game Preference: Either date is fine for me!
What You’d Like to Play: A Fallen Aasimar Warlock (Undead Patron). Quiet, heavy roleplay-focused. I’m craving a character with a deeply emotional, sorrow-driven arc—someone who’s lost everything but still stitches broken things back together.
How Your Character Fits the Tone: Elandrin Melyr is a tragic figure shaped by betrayal, survival, and what she’s become after.
She fits the tone of Dirgebourne through quiet horror and moral ambiguity. Her story centers on what lingers after death, what we carry even when we survive, and how love can break you just as much as hate.
Idk if u are still lfp but if u are i'd love to join!
What you’d like to play: A Dragonborn Rogue. He'd be withdrawn and a bit cynical but has a good reason for it.
How your character fits the tone: Atlas Draven was created to be part of an Noir style roleplay. He has experience with death and the horrors of losing a loved one that led him down the path of getting involved with crime syndicates and assassinations. don't know if this fits or this still available but hope to hear from back you!
Discord Handle: CafePancake (or cafepancake are these things case sensitive?)
Pronouns:They/Them
Game Preference: (Tuesday, Friday, or both) both
What you’d like to play: (Class, vibes, anything you're craving) For tuesday, glam bard. For friday, I was thinking human fighter.
How your character fits the tone: Glam bard is a young lounge singer, wears a bright and glittery red suit and has your usual sinner moral flexibility. Enjoys parties to forget about everyday problems.
Human fighter is a delinquent who accidentally killed the local town hero in a mugging gone wrong, watched as his hometown slowly lost its last flicker of light and tries his best to fill the shoes left behind by someone actually worthy of respect in a world that seems to hate him on a base level. A story about the consequences of one's own actions and what it takes to be a hero.
What you’d like to play: Drakewarden Ranger with less of an outdoorsy, more aristocratic vibe. Think Danaerys or Rhaenyra.
How your character fits the tone: Character I'm thinking of is an aristocratic dragon lady. Grieving the loss of her family at the hands of her abusive husband. She seeks the wealth, power, influence, and most importantly allies necessary to take him down and get her revenge. Again think of Targaryen women from GOT mixed with a little bit of Cersei Lannister's viciousness and tenacity. (Leaving out her abrasiveness against everyone and everything though haha)
What you’d like to play: Something role play heavy but with regular combat, which of course has role play as a part of it.
How your character fits the tone: Whaffo is a halfling rogue that enjoys taking away from the wealthy with the intent of giving it the the poor. However, Whaffo is a gambling addict and cannot resist risking to double his hard earned, er "hard-stolen", gold. He takes to the underground, and sometimes his beneficiaries get a lot of gold... sometimes they get nothing. When his beneficiaries are expecting a payout, they are upset when they get nothing.
Game Preference: Both Tuesday and Friday but I'm fine if I only get into one
What you’d like to play: Not sure what I want the subclasses to be yet but I'll figure it out
Tuesday: Pocket-Kobold Rogue or artificer, He/Him. street level thief, just wants to make enough money to live comfortably in the world. Most of the stuff he makes does the boom, but he can make non boom stuff as well if he has to.
Friday: Solomon "sage" Everett-human warlock, He/they. Raised by a cult, believes there is good in everyone, thinks his god will one day lead this world to salvation, does not tolerate anyone who badmouths their god, shady past.
How your character fits the tone:
Tuesday: Now I know most people see Kobold and think "wow what a troll character that's just here for the lols" but I do not make any character that is just for lols. While I do think he would be a bit on the comic relief side of things that's not all I can bring with this character, he will be useful for stealth or equipment obtaining. He's also not some chaotic dumbass, Pocket is smart and can bring a smile on peoples face in tense moments. So don't worry this is not a "for the lols" character.
Friday: I think my character would work great in that setting. It seems like the tone and the world is going to be quite dark and sometimes you need a person that can be the light in that darkness. But their is also intrigue since sage himself isn't 100% good or innocent they still have some darkness which is good to explore.
What you’d like to play: For the Thuesday one I'm thinking of a con artist type of character. A warlock with a silver tongue. For the warlock I imagine them comming from a disgraced noble house and doing deal with misterious entities to regains his house power (I would like to hear more about the lore and work with the DM to create a cool patron!). Gameplay wise I really like the idea of a melee bladelock.
How your character fits the tone:
The charlatan, swindler type of character I think will fit this perfectly. Being the center of atention in the masquerade, stealing both secrets and hears. Then weaponizing this secrets. Talking the party out of trouble. The goal of having all the power their house used to have again will lead to the character taking risks. Starting the campaign with a very egotistical mindset but growing out of it as they will see the party as thier new family.
What you’d like to play: - Halfling Rogue / Warlock - Street juggler, former circus performer - Haunted by tragedy
How your character fits the tone: Spent childhood in a traveling circus with their parents. One day, the big top tent burnt down, consuming patrons and performers alike. Years later, survives as a street juggler haunted by the past. Has an eye for the spotting the supernatural.
