The art of creating adventures and crafting tales has captivated me since my childhood & now that I've found TTRPGS, these wild ideas have been evolving into handcrafted memorable campaigns. I like to blend fantasy, horror, & humor into a a few hours of gaming where we can just sink into our characters & the scenes. This is a campaign about your family.
It is about what happens when the law is corrupt, the truth does not matter, and the only people you can rely on are the ones who share your blood.
All player characters are members of the same family. Siblings, cousins, or otherwise bound by blood. You were raised together by two loving parents who chose a quiet life on the coast. You did not meet by chance. You begin this story already connected.
Your family lives simply, working as fishers near the sea and learning the skills you will need in the future. The land has always been good to you. The waters are generous. Things work here in ways they do not elsewhere, and you have never had a reason to question why.
When a wealthy Fish Monger with powerful ties moves to seize your family’s land and livelihood, that life is torn apart. What starts as a verbal dispute turns violent. The law turns its back on you, the truth stops mattering, and you are forced into exile with nothing but each other.
What begins as a fight to protect your home becomes a story of loss, revenge, and discovery. Over time, you will learn that your family was never as ordinary as it seemed, and that your home stood at the edge of something far larger than any of you understood.
There will be plenty of combat, but the emotional throughline is always the family. How far are you willing to go once there is no way back?
The group will choose the family name together during Session 0. This campaign begins grounded and personal, then expands into a larger and stranger world over time.
In Session 0, we will also decide the Bonds and Relationships between family members. You choose how close, strained, or complicated those relationships are.
