Hello! I am working on getting a group together for a Bi-weekly game on a Saturday morning, around 8-11AM (CST).
Our preference is towards a RP heavy game. We are hoping for complex characters with backstories that are made collaboratively with the DM so that the various campaign story arcs can bring out their details and further develop the characters throughout the campaign. In regards to a general campaign tone, we looking to lean towards a darker, grittier game.
It is my intent to utilize a session 0 to get suggestions from each player towards the world we will play in, to help establish a world that feels more known by the players. Additionally it could help the group to understand each player's expectations for the world, its vibe, and resulting interactions. I expect we would proceed to build characters after we have established enough about the world to have a sense for the time period, tone, and the initial group motivation/goal.
