Because two players hopped off before the start of the campaign, we are looking for two more dedicated players. Experience isn't a factor in this.
Our DM has already got a plot rolled up: "Ever since a few years ago, magic started to fade in the lands, at first powerful magicians and witches tried to keep that hidden, until simple things like contacting gods became harder and harder. All the lands and tribes are now working together to solve this problem. You are one of the fighters/mercenarys/soldier that your tribe has sent out to get to the bottom if this problem, and you are set to team up with other people of your sort to form a team."
This of course also affects magical classes. Here is a small "chart" that shows you which clases afre affected:
Half effective spells classes: Cleric; Paladin; Warlock Classes that are unable to use magic: Bard; Druid; Monk; Ranger; Sorcerer; Wizard (Depending on backstory she's willing to bump them to half effective, though Wizard is excluded from that.)
However the campaign will continue after the problem is solved, so you do get your magical abilities back eventually.
I'd love to join. I'm new to Dnd and really want to get involved in a campaign. I do have a character made, but I can change it if necessary. I have Saturdays free. I hope you'll have me.

Seems very interesting :) Would be happy to join, completely new here so excuse me if I take time to get my bearings.

Just curious how the fading magic who effect magical creatures?
