Legends of Exandria
We’re looking for more players and potential dungeon masters for our new Westmarches-esque community with a few twists and modernizations, set in Critical Role’s Exandria. Dungeon Masters put up events for players to sign up for according to what fit their schedules. We have a custom built Discord bot that actively adapts and grows to the server's needs - streamlining character management, trade, purchases, and so much more, all so you can focus on the fun. Everything is handled by D&D Beyond and our custom Discord Bot, meaning no tedious excel-sheet tracking of rewards, time played, etc!
We play with D&D 5e 2024 rules, with a few variant rules listed in the discord channel. Sessions are played over Discord Voice and varying VTT depending on DM's preference. Right now, it is Foundry VTT and Owlbear.
What to Expect
A space for both new and experienced players as well as potential Dungeon Masters to fill their schedules with as much D&D as desired, and to help eachother enjoy this hobby as we grow together as both players and persons among strangers.
A modern take on Westmarches: rotating parties, persistent world, ongoing plot hooks.
Multiple DMs, varied adventures, and room for long-term character and plot arcs.
A collaborative culture: we work to integrate every character into the story and share the spotlight.
Smooth logistics via our Discord bot (events, sheets, inventories, and more).
What We’re Looking For
Patience and openness to different playstyles—online play with new folks can be nuanced.
Active engagement: roleplay boldly, listen well, and contribute to group goals.
Enjoy all three pillars of D&D—Exploration, Social Interaction, and Combat.
Be present during sessions. We don’t use webcams, but please avoid multitasking. The more you engage, the more others have to play off-of and drive the narrations forward.
