Fantasy Grounds experience is not required, only the willingness to learn.

Permitted Source Books: All official books are allowed, including 2014 sources (and most owned in FG), as well as published 3rd party material based on GM’s discretion.

Player Options: Most options are fine with me, including taking the best of both worlds between the 2014 and 2024 editions. Though I reserve late judgement for selections that I anticipate being troublesome.

According to legend, two families of dragons came into being in the very first days of the world’s creation. Bahamut, the noble Platinum Dragon, made the metallic dragons – gold, silver, bronze, brass, and copper. Cruel, five-headed Tiamat made the chromatic dragons – red, blue, green, black, and white. These two families share a deep-seated hatred for each other that originates in the enmity between Bahamut and Tiamat.

Ages ago, a mighty red dragon called Sharruth rampaged up and down the Sword Coast, destroying towns and killing indiscriminately and without reprisal. Three metallic dragons eventually joined forces to battle Sharruth, putting an end to her tyranny and imprison her beneath the ocean floor, hoping the seawater would quench her fire and keep her bound there forever. But the dragon’s unbridled fury, legend says, was so potent that it caused the undersea activity that formed Stormwreck Isle.

In all likelihood, Sharruth is long dead by now and entombed beneath the island, but chromatic dragons still believe that she might yet live and will one day emerge from her prison; rising up to reclaim her title as a favored child of Tiamat! One fact is undeniable: the powerful magic embodied in such an ancient dragon has left a permanent mark on Stormwreck Isle. And that magic has drawn other dragons to the island throughout the centuries, chromatics in the hopes of empowering themselves or maybe even freeing Sharruth, metallics to stop them before it might be too late. This makes the place a recurring battlefield between the dragons and not just a few of them have died there over time, each leaving behind their own magical residue that adds to the already potent magic infusing the land.

Now, a new threat arises on Stormwreck Isle. Maybe not on a level of danger that has transpired in the past, but nevertheless a situation that-if not prevented in time-might endanger the lands of the nearby Sword Coast yet again as the ageless draconic conflict rears its ugly head once more.

Hi! I’m looking for a couple of players to join me in this short, self-contained adventure that should take us between 6 – 8 weeks to complete. The main purpose for me with this search is to broaden my player base and get to know some new like-minded, reliable people who share my passion for RPGs and the high fantasy theme specifically.

If you are only interested in participating in this one adventure and want to take your leave thereafter, that will be just fine, of course. But my hope is to also build a strong group foundation together and to transition into a new, full-fledged campaign once this initial module has concluded. So any players who are looking for a long-term project should consider this as well.
