Somewhere in the dark corners of an urban city there lies a stage of wood. In the center of the stage is a black iron brazier, unlit but stacked with wood. Nestled around the base is a silken blanket, dark as the night sky above. As the crowd begins to gather around the stage wondering what it is for, a stranger proceeds to step up and approach the crowd. An older human male, mid-forties. Salt and pepper hair and beard. His clothes are tattered and dirty. He is carrying a small wooden stick about 14” long. On his hip, wrapped in a strange leather holster, is a leatherbound book. He stands a little under six feet tall and leans forward slightly seeming to walk with an injury. Perhaps a bad back? As he steps on stage, the unlit brazier begins to crackle and the wood ignites. “Good evening ladies and gentlemen! I seek only but a moment of your time. For some time now, the word Magic has been looked down upon. Whether it be the dangers that it presents, the uncontrollable force the powers it, or just the fear of the unknown, people around our world have become afraid of it.” “Tell me...who here believes in magic?” Slowly his right-hand lifts the stick, circling the tip over his left palm twice before flicking it towards the sky. From the point of the small wand, a small rainbow spark emits and quickly dissolves. “You see, long ago I discovered my talents. And just like most, I was afraid. But over time, I learned that magic is a gift, and my gift was fire…” His hands wave across the open brazier and the flames begin to dance. The crowd lets out a gasp as he continues to speak. His hands, like a marionette, begin to control a red dragon as it rises from the flames, swirling around the open brazier. “I learned to control the fire and bend it to my will. Learning that mankind themselves should not fear fire, for it is one of the five requirements for our lives. Water, Food, Fire, Shelter, and Love. So I dedicated my life to learning magic. I’d like to show you a few things I’ve learned.” For the next twenty minutes or so, the wizard shows off his skills of telekinesis, card tricks, and other small crowd pleasers. Finally, he stands before the crowd with his arms open wide and says “Now, I am ready to attempt my greatest test yet.” “Life…” his right-hand covers his left palm for a moment and then pulls away, a small wax candle sits in his palm. With a snap, the wick ignites. “...is like a candle. When you are young, the flame burns high and bright.” With the wave of his hand and he whispers a few words, the flame grows. The flickering flame illuminating his aging face. “But as you age, the flame dies down until finally…” his fingers squeeze the tip of the flame and all that is left is a trail of smoke rising into the air. “But what if, like this candle, I could control time and reverse the flame of life?” Slowly, the stranger steps up to the brazier, wrapping the blanket around himself and the fire and lifting it to his waist. With a deep breath, his closes his eyes and throws the blanket over his head. “Vi Idish Araan!” The flames of the brazier expand and escape the top of the blanket like an explosion. A half second later the blanket falls at the strange man's feet. Only now, standing before the crowd is a young adult, maybe mid-twenties. His hair is spiked out to almost an anime style black with bits of dark red at the tips with a small patch of red on the tip of his chin. He stands with his hands on his hips still carrying the same 14” wooden stick and leatherbound book. But his clothes have changed to a fine jacket and bow tie with a buttoned-down shirt. His buttons made of a fine, polished copper. His pants pressed and well fit. His footwear, however, is a strange form of boot. They seem to be some kind of black hide with a white toe. The Laces are red like his hair. He raises his hands into the air and shouts as the crowd lets out applause and awe. “I have been Gavyn Crowwood and you have been thoroughly entertained!” With a clap, a large brown top hat sits at the edge of the stage with a sign that says “Coins Only Please!”

Hello! My name is PxBest, and I'm looking for a game. Above is a bit of a character intro that I have been working on. I have his character sheet built with standard array and he is built with all table legal rules from the core books, no UA. I'm hoping he will find a home in your world.
While I have a character in mind, I am fully flexible with him so he can fit into your world. If you are a DM and would like to see his character sheet, please send me a PM/DM here or on discord PxBest#3248. He is currently built at level 1.
I hope to hear from you soon, thank you.
PxBest / Gavyn Crowwood, Level 1 Human Variant Wizard. (Who might have a bit of bard in him at some point.)
