You may have guessed that this campaign is about your character's life and journey after watching the video. If you compare it to movies, it would be a telenovela versus an action flick, in terms of a typical campaign.

This journey will incorporate your background story, with select episodes taking place both before and after the campaign begins. It is an essential element of the campaign. The world is a fantasy sandbox with grounded medieval flair, and hidden beneath is vast lore and secrets that emerge to change the world. The campaign starts where all seems peaceful and dangers are gone for two generations. But that is about to change, and with it your story emerges. Multiple plotlines are always ready for the players, and they develop even if left untouched. 

You may not enjoy this game if:

• You expect fast leveling. XP is slow, as we play a long story.
• You prefer high-magic, consequence-free play. Magic is limited, costly, and doesn’t fix everything. In our believable world, some spells are either absent or have limited effects.
• You want nonstop combat and loot. Many sessions focus on exploration, story, and roleplay. Big fights and treasure are occasional.
• You don’t enjoy teamwork. Cooperation and shared spotlight are core. Lone-wolf or PvP styles won’t fit.
• You cannot uphold your commitment to play regularly and on time.
• Bottom line: This is a slow-burning, story-rich, cooperative game with grounded stakes.
