Hello everyone! Welcome to my table. Name’s Rui and I’m sure we’re going to have a wonderful time together!
This is a beginner-friendly table. If you’re exploring D&D and figuring out how the game works, this is a table for you too!
In this adventure, you’ll be hired to deliver some goods to the quiet village of Phandalin. I’m sure nothing bad will happen! (Famous last words…)
A bit about me... I'm a storyteller at heart. Roleplaying is my favourite part of D&D. I love portraying NPC's and giving them unique personality traits and voices. Alongside this, I LOVE weaving my players' characters' backstories into the story and build their past into our campaign together. If someone wronged you and you're out for revenge, you better believe they'll appear in the story! When it comes to combat, I prefer style over rules. What this means, in practice, is that I will let dice decide what happens if you want to try something flashy. It may not be super straightforward rule-wise but, if it makes you feel great and have fun, that's my priority! With me, you'll have a beginner-friendly DM who will always seek to do what's best for the players. Also, I love to do voices so be ready for Scottish dwarves!
I a very new player to DnD and i would love to try out for a beginner friendly campaign. I tried to apply on the link but i couldnt register on it sadly. Is there a way for me to contact you over discord maybe?
Unfortunately, the website I use (Start Playing) requires players to have an account on their platform, otherwise I'll get in trouble! Did it say why it wouldn't let you register?
I managed to register onto the website but i cant join the campaign because i dont own a creditcard, so i cant proceed to the next step sadly. Is there still a way to enter the campaign?
@Steezy, check with the Staff and they do require some sort of card there. I was told there are alternatives to Debit/Credit cards out there. Maybe there's a solution there somewhere? Sorry mate, it's not very straightforward!
