My gamer name is _Fingerprints. I know that sounds sketchy but no I'm seriously legit. I honestly just thought it would be a cool gamer name but I can see where I went wrong... haha. Anyways, I'm a passionate player of D&D inspired to reach higher than your normal average D&D group and am looking for others like me (hopefully under the age of 30 but if not we'll see if we vibe together) who want to make engaging clean D&D content for all ages. I have a lot of interesting ideas and a fair amount of free time (but yes I do have a real job). I've watched a lot of Youtube in my past and I've been writing a medieval fantasy book on the side but that's not exactly important. Its been one of my dreams to start my own (or our own) D&D Youtube channel for the people out there who... how can I say this properly... have high standards and aren't exactly exposed to D&D as a fun game that can be played without vulgar language, political insertion, and inappropriate descriptions...? You know what I mean. I want people of all sorts to see D&D as a great experience that grows relationships and brings people together from all walks of life. If you're wondering why I've chosen for it to be that way listen, when I was a kid my parents banned me from playing D&D thinking it was demonic. I had to go behind their backs (and this is at age 16 by the way after having had years of knowing its existence) to find out the rules of the game and what it was all about only to find out it was a totally fun game to play and there was no satanic stuff in it at all. I want everyone to experience the joy I had playing the game with my neighborhood friends at the time... but those days are over now and my friends have gone on in their lives to new things, life does that... but I'm not done playing D&D, and I know everyone on here isn't done playing D&D either. There are more stories to be told and more adventures to be written.
Now when it all comes down to it I got to be honest. I am the scrap at the bottom of the barrel and I'm only floating this idea out there, but I am committed to the conviction that nothing can stop you when you're fighting for a noble cause, except yourself. I have no experience when it comes to making Youtube videos and there's a chance this thing will never happen at all. But I want to make it happen, and I need support from passionate players like you (Who live around Queen Creek or Gilbert or, if you're really committed to driving, even Mesa Arizona) to make this happen. However, I will tell you I have had some experience being a Dungeon Master but I haven't played D&D in a while. I have a house we can play D&D and brainstorm a whole bunch of ideas at but I don't think its an ideal place to set up a Youtube filming space or maybe it is, you can be the judge of that. Maybe your house is better? This'll be a long process in the making as I am sure everyone has their own life, working and doing your daily tasks. I want to have weekly meetings (preferably Saturdays) and make a discord for our discussions/ideas/comments and eventually a group chat on our phones cause I'm bad at using technology and prefer group chat over discord cause that's the best way to reach me. If you're serious and interested please comment to this post with a little something about yourself and your discord name so that I can contact you through that. If you could list any skills to help the channel out that would be great too! Hopefully we get along great and we can slowly make this a thing even if its not going to be a Youtube channel. Thanks to all!
