Game: D&D 5e Group preferred: Online Experience: Early Intermediate ( a few years, but only 1 the same few people and only in person ) Location/Timezone: Pacific / GMT-7 Availability: Preferably Saturdays ( any time more or less ) but could do weekdays 7PM+ ( my local time ) Preferred role: Player Game style: Chill/whatever, I like to try to do RP and come up with a good back story but I also like a nice dungeon run/hack n' slash style too
I've never actually used any of the online services ( barring Discord of course ) but I'm pretty savvy so can figure it out and pay for the service if it's that kind of thing. I don't think I'm open to paying to join a group just yet, something about it feels...I don't know, weird? I kind of just want to have fun with people who also want to have fun without it being a business transaction, but I know that players are a dime a dozen.
I understand though that good DM's are in high demand so don't judge if that's your thing, maybe the right DM/group/campaign could convince me I guess.
There is a Saturday evening game starting soon that uses the Grim Hollow supplement (D&D Grim Hollow is a dark fantasy setting for Dungeons and Dragons 5th Edition created by Ghostfire Gaming. It features a grim, godless world called Etharis that is plagued by curses, monsters, and war. The supplement includes character options like new subclasses, heritages, and transformations (like werewolf or vampire) that allow players to become monstrous beings with their own set of pros and cons.) It is a paid game though. But if that adventure setting interests you, then it should be worth trying to see if you are OK with paying a little for it.

I'd never actually heard of Grim Hollow and this looks *100%* up my alley and would love to give it a shot!
I'll send you a message
