Experience: I've been playing since July 2021. Most of my experience is with dm-ing but I do have experience as a player. I am willing to play with any level of experience for both dm and players.
Time zone: MDT (mountain time)
Availability: I'm 100% reliable on Sundays after 11am MST and mostly reliable on Mondays after the same time (every once in a blue moon, usually around holidays, I get scheduled but I can talk to my manager about it if it becomes a problem).
Preferred role: Player
Game style: I usually play wizards, bards, or rogues. But like to adjust to the party's needs. I'm looking for a free voice based game with a story for me to take part in (meaning not looking for a sandbox, sorry). I am a lover of improv, roleplay, and exploration. I still love a good bit of combat of course. I am broke, I will not and cannot do a paid campaign.
Must be trans friendly. Meaning everyone is actively down to play with a trans person. If lgbtq people 'don't come up' in your group, it's probably not a good fit for me. Also, I am early 20s and would like to play with people around my age if possible.
If it sounds like I might fit, you can add me on discord at maple_fish
You’d fit right in with The Nexus, an 18+ LGBTQAI+ friendly community that’s fully trans inclusive. We run a Westmarch-style setup with each DM hosting their own world, so there’s always a story-driven adventure ready for players who love roleplay, exploration, and combat.
We’re a global community with daily sessions, including Sundays and Mondays, so your availability works perfectly. Games use D&D 5e (2014 ruleset) and everything is shared via D&D Beyond campaign links, making it easy to join without paying anything. You can also create multiple characters from level 3 with a generous 35 Point Buy, letting you adapt to any party or explore different playstyles.
We also offer Play by Post/TRP options if you want a slower-paced, story-heavy experience, and our community is supportive and newbie-friendly, making it ideal for meeting players around your age who are excited about roleplay and improvisation.
