Running a 5e (2014) campaign with a homebrew setting and homebrew rules.
97 years ago, the cosmic forces went to war. The gods that numbered in the hundreds all went to war against 30 rogue deities... and none remained.
However the pillars of the world seldom fall alone. Many races disappeared from the world, starting with the giants and dragons. And over the near century few species more magical than the elves remain, and even the Drow hadn't been seen since the start of the cataclysm, the Severance. The planes were cut off from the prime material plane, and magic became more and more difficult to wield.
The Androsian Empire, an advanced and anti-theistic empire in the North, are the only reason why society remained stable, and most nations were able to keep power and order during the reconstruction age. The Empire said this would happen. They also said they would conquer the continent. One boot dropped, and many people live hoping that the Empire has simply forgotten the other boot.
however, semblances of the old world are returning, magical beings are arriving, many benevolent... but not enough for the now fragile world to be ready for the malevolent.
Will be on Discord, will probably use Owlbear studio for ttv unless I find a better option.

Age 18+ will be a darker world of consequences. Fun vibes at the table, but a rather serious story with funny bits and lighthearted moments.
