The kingdom face a stretch of well earned, well fought for peace and prosperity. It felt like almost all the evil of the world had been defeated, or at least driven into hiding. Rumors had begun to spread of a great doom coming, the Oracles, Star Readers, Future Seers all swearing that something was coming to tip the scales of balance back from good to evil. The the day came, a dark and ominous storm brewed within the kingdom, deep black clouds with violent streaks of purple lightning, and the sound of rumbling steps that shook the earth. Thick inky black rain fell from the sky, just moments before the horde, now commonly named the "Death Parade" would trample, and lay waste to all things in its path. Creatures of truly horrific visages, unearthly abominations, and the monstrosities of another realm all together, The invasion of The Black Lake.

After saving a small city from the brink of sacrifice, and gaining a fast track to the current largest city. Finding the capital has truly fallen, and getting to explore and establish themselves within the city to garner resources and influence to challenge the ever growing cult that seems to be following the other side.
