Looking for 2 to 3 players for a Forgotten Realms Campaign set in the Unapproachable East.
This campaign embraces dark realism and flickering hope. The world is weary, yet not beyond redemption. Every decision matters, as factions watch closely and consequences echo across the land. At its heart, the story is about personal stakes—faith shaken by corruption, legacies built or broken in the shadows, and the chance for redemption in a place where heroes are desperately needed. This is a world shaped by character, choice, and the courage to stand against gathering darkness.
Every hero in this campaign is connected to the fate of the region. Your character might have roots in a struggling temple, a fading knightly order, or a thieves’ guild surviving amid political decay. Perhaps you once belonged to a mercenary company that fought along the borders, or a wizard’s circle navigating ancient secrets better left undisturbed. You could come from a merchant house trying to stay afloat in shifting alliances, or a low-born noble family clawing its way back toward relevance. Whatever you choose, your ties are not just backstory — they shape how the East sees you and how your journey unfolds within it.
Character creation is grounded in the setting itself. Your story begins in these lands—not in faraway kingdoms with no ties to the struggles unfolding here. Characters should originate from Damara, Impiltur, Narfell, or the Great Dale, drawing from the 2024 Player’s Handbook species and classes, with optional alternatives available through my Roll20 content. We’ll use the standard array for ability scores and maximum hit points through the early levels to ensure a strong start.
