As the war of demons and humans ends in Japan, an escapee makes their way onto a ship, traveling the sea towards a place self-named, The Land of the Free. They slowly crept up their numbers, making sure to avoid the mistakes of the previous king, staying hidden and only making attacks when dire. This caution was rewarded, as they learned of a man who could put an end to the second uprising of demons, and snuffed him out. Victorious, they showed less and less restraint, and attacks slowly became more profound. Friends of the man scrambled to teach what was left of the study and teachings to other generations, until they created a small militia to counterattack and take back their land.
A bit of info about me, I got into dnd a little over 3 years ago and enjoyed it a lot. I have a tiny bit of experience dming, although it's neither perfect nor professional, so try to take it easy on me. I'm planning this to be a short(10-15 sessions)campaign based on the Demon Slayer universe, with the timeline being after WWII in the US, all tech being from the 1980's and earlier.
My hope/goal is a 40/60 combat to roleplay, so around 0-2 combat(s) per session is what I'm aiming for.
I have 2-3 players(one had to leave because of personal issues) and looking for 2-3 more to add to the group; new players are always welcome.
Start time will be around 6:00-6:30 pm EST/GMT -5 Feb 7th.
