Game: D&D 5e Group type: Online / VTT Experience: New Players or Players New to Online Play Location/Timezone: MST Schedule: Saturdays - Biweekly from Noon-3pm Roles sought: Seeking Players Game style: The bells and whistles of online play can be confusing. Technical skills may interrupt the freedom of true play. These sessions intend to cultivate your excitement through a series of casual meetups to discover D&D Beyond, Maps VTT and how to use these maps to get that table-top feel and the confidence to know what is where so you can feel free to immerse yourself in the game. Once we've gotten comfortable with these details we'll delve into the different settings of D&D (Dragonlance, Planescape, Spelljammer) while creating different characters from these settings.
Finally, I'll introduce a series of 5E modules or introduce one or two possible homebrew campaigns that I think would fit our new party like a glove, you'll all decide together, and I'll run that campaign for you. This run will be aimed at roleplayers and will feature voice acting, improv, immersive music and ambient environmental effects.
These games will be hosted every other Saturday from noon-3pm MST. Secure/safe transactions will be made through StartPlaying.Games and will cost $22/session.
