Hi all, I'm new to these forums but I've been playing and running games since I was a kid. I'm a teacher who got started running professional, paid games for my students after school, and I've been doing it full time for four years so far. Now, I'm trying to break into the online world with a short one-shot using one of my favorite DM's Guild modules, "Down Came a Blackbird."
This will be a version of it that is modified to highlight my favorite bits and make it feasible to complete in a single session. I'll be looking for 2nd level characters; you can make your own or I can provide one. It will be run by voice chat on Discord. I usually use Theater of the Mind for combat, but when I do use a VTT, I like Owlbear Rodeo. Hope to see you there!
"Fear has gripped the residents of Saltmarsh – the birds are hostile and locals are being butchered in their homes. A small band of children are in grave danger, having unwittingly brought misfortune to their town. As the adventurers unravel the mystery, they learn of a diabolical ritual, and an alliance between two menacing foes. Can they survive long enough to cleanse the Saltmarsh skies of an ancient and dreadful curse?"
