Group type: Online; Roll20 with Discord for Video chat
Location/Timezone: Eastern USA
Schedule: Sunday, Feb 8 6:00 EST
Roles sought: 3-6 players
{My regular game is off this week due to the Super Bowl in the US but I'm not much of a sports fan so I'm offering this one-shot instead!}
A grand festival is going on to celebrate the 1000th year of the Zeldonian Empire. The celebrations will culminate with a day of gladiator games at the Coliseum attended by the Emperor himself! Your employer, a merchant from the city, has heard a rumor that someone is going to try to assassinate the Emperor during the games. Without hard evidence, he can't get anyone in the government to take him seriously, so he has hired your group to attend the games and thwart the assassins.
The game is first person role playing, good aligned heroes, with limited/no out of character, and is a touch on the grittier side. I have 40+ years of xp as a GM but this would be a great game for beginners.
Game will be 5e and not using most 2024 rules as of yet. All previously published official WotC classes are available but the game only has the SRD loaded in Roll20 (so anything you don't have access to will need to be programmed into Roll20 before the start of the game). We are starting at level 1 using standard array (15,14,13,12,10,8; +2/+1 decoupled as per Tasha's).
We will be using video as it greatly enhances the roleplay.
Beginners welcomed!

Please answer the following items (I will not have time to chase down incomplete or ambiguous answers so those applications will be passed over):
Can you confirm that you can and will do video?
How long have you been playing table-top RPGs?
What will your race, class, and subclass be?
Briefly tell me a little about your hero in 2-3 sentences:
What will your hero's alignment be?
If a seat opens in my weekly game would you be interested/available?

Looks like we've got a Tiefling Rogue, High Elf Wizard, and Human Cleric. Still have room for 1-3 more.
