I've not been on here long, as you will notice by my profile, yet I have been trying to get a DnD Game for a Long time, I've Tried Wiki Boards and other RPG Sites, Forums, but no luck.
I'm a 34yr old South African Living in Cape Town (GMT +2) and I'm hopefully looking to find other South African DnD Players who are willing and able to teach this NEWB a thing or 2 about a Campaigns and Lore. I've just spent the last couple of Hours here on DnDBeyond Crafting a Beginner's Character, Franz Mountain Dwarf Fighter Class. LVL 1 (can you link Characters.?.?). So I'm familiar with RPGs mainly in the Video Game form of World of Warcraft, Guild Wars, Final Fantasy, ESO.
I've read Most of the DragonLance Novels as a Kid (does that help?)
I watch CriticalRoll (hence i found out about this site.. thanks Guys :P )
So ja.. like if there like a couple of lekker ouens out there willing to teach an old brak some new tricks that be lekker.
Thanks for your time.
EDIT:(Eish) Sorry forgot to mention, I'm available weekends and most evenings,
Hey man, In the same boat as you (just posted my very own LFG thread) but wanted to know if you had any luck? D&D seems rather scare here in the western cape
It's sort of traditional that when CLAWs members graduate they stay in close contact with the group. So I reckon it's a good place to look for a game.
And if that fails then make sure you attend Dragonfire, which is UCT's annual mini-convention of all things gaming-related. It's usually in August.
There will be people there who will run once-off sessions for a nominal fee (it's usually like R20 or something) so you can play, meet other players, and look for a group all at the same time.
Hi, so I know a DM that is keen, provided we put a together a workable party ie meet once a week possibly, and is convenient for all. He's based in CBD, CPT. There's a game running at the Luckshack in Milnerton but I know it's currently full.
Let me know!

Cape Townian DM here.
Unfortunately, my game is full. But have you tried speaking to people at the UCT gaming society "CLAWs"?
