The World
The villains won.
The Red Queen rules a realm of masks and madness. Maleficent’s thorns choke an entire kingdom in eternal sleep. Queen Regina trades enchanted mirrors and secrets in equal order. Neverland steals children and never gives them back.
This is the Forsaken Province.
A world where fairy tales were not redeemed. They were weaponized. Kingdoms are shaped by ambition, obsession, envy, hunger, and pride. Heroes still rise, but they rise in lands built by those who refused to lose.
Magic here is tied to the story. Identity matters. Reputation matters. Myths have weight. The world responds to those bold enough to reshape it.
You are not stepping into a prewritten module. You are stepping into a living world already in motion.
And your characters will leave a mark.
What Makes This Different
This is not generic high fantasy with a darker coat of paint.
The Forsaken Province is a long-running, fully realized setting refined over years of play. Nations have distinct identities. Factions remember what you do. Power structures are layered and political. Fairy tale logic collides with real consequences.
You might:
Undermine a tyrant from within their own court
Broker peace between monster and noble houses
Exploit villain politics for your own rise
Build something new in a land that expects collapse
Choose whether to oppose the rulers or become one
Your backstory will not sit on a shelf. It will integrate into the fabric of the world.
Shaping the Campaign
Nothing is locked in yet.
Session Zero determines:
Which region we focus on
Tone, political intrigue, dark fantasy, rebellion, high adventure, tragedy, ambition
Party connections and shared history
Themes the group wants to explore
The Forsaken Province supports:
Court drama in the Rouge Vale
Mirror-bound secrets in Mirror’s Edge
Sea-bound survival in Argo Bay
Industrial unrest in the Land of Our Lady
Thorn-choked destiny in the Land of the Briar Rose
Wild magic and madness in the Emerald Domain
You help decide where we begin. We’ve done political intrigue, eldritch horror, world-shattering catastrophes, and so much more.
This is a collaborative start, not a railroad.

The villains built this world.
The question is whether you will survive it, challenge it, or claim a throne of your own.
I've played in Pun's games for 5.5 years now and gotta say it's worth the investment! I've completed two full campaigns with him (lvl 1 - 20) and hopped right into follow up games. The Forsake Providence is a fun sandbox. My first PC was a "rewritten" version of Nala that worked for Scar. My second PC in this universe is The Girl with the Green Ribbon (Reborn Grave cleric). I've seen some of the most unique characters come out of this setting.
As someone who has played at Pun's tables for about a year and a half, I've had great fun. These tables have had some of the most rewarding and in-depth roleplay which have really helped to itch the creative part of my brain. One of my favorite aspects has been Pun's willingness to adapt to player preferences - for me, I'm not particularly fond of combat so when the party agrees to take a course that is *not* combat (diplomacy, underhanded tactics, re-routing conflicts, etc), Pun is quick to change the course of the story to allow for it. It truly makes me feel as if I have creative freedom at the table and am not bound to pre-planned scenarios. I look forward to the future of the games I am in!
As another player in Pun's games (over two years now), I agree with everything mentioned above! Pun crafts an experience, an intricate story-telling theater, which can push and pull at the weight of in-game decisions. They dive deep in to themes and concepts that feel like light philosophical debates, but also a delightful madness of flavor that encourages creativity. RP is integral to their games and Pun has a knack for building up the foundation of every player's story and threading it in to your adventures together with purpose and... sharp precision (hello knife theory).
What I love the most is having a space to be in character and express ideas to build up my PC's; does my fighter hit things very hard? Yes, but why and how? Pun makes you think about those things and more as you explore the Forsaken Province and uncover its myriad of ink-bound secrets.

I completely forgot Kana was an alternative Nala, I love that so much. She was genuinely one of my favorites.

I really appreciate the kind words. I am so excited to see where things go too!
