Hello everyone! I've been a DM since university and am planning to run a medium-long (depending on how story goes) campaign with some friends! However, scheduling is a formidable boss as always, so we're looking for 2 players to fill in the group!

Campaign:

- More details will be given in session 0, but the campaign will be in a homebrew setting with Wuxia as its theme! Characters will be navigating the story and world as martial artists of different sects working together towards the same goal...aside from a few secret motivations of course. Given the Wuxia-theme, the homebrew setting will be based on ancient China but not an exact replica. Players can expect meeting mythical creatures like the Qilin, navigating relationships between sects (orthodox/unorthodox/demonic), exploring thy backstories, and perhaps some kung fu hustle-level shenanigans.

- Though everything will be flavored as martial arts/martial techniques, you will not be limited to the martial classes! I will be open to discussing homebrewed classes and races as well!

- Players will be starting at level 3 and will reach up to around levels 10-12.

- The campaign will have a mix of roleplay, combat, and exploration, but roleplay would be the largest slice of the pie as the story will be centered on the characters! Be warned, there will be sessions where there's solely roleplay!

- This campaign will be beginner friendly and you are not required to have a vast knowledge of Wuxia or Chinese culture to apply! So long as you are interested and willing to learn, you are welcome to join! ^^

When:

- 1/week on Fridays @ 4:30am EST/10:30 pm NZT/7:30pm AEST (give or take 1 hour due to daylight savings wackiness as we have people from different timezones!)

- Each session will be about 3-4 hours long!

- The day may switch to Saturdays dependent on final group, so availability for both would be preferable but not required!

Requirements:

- Be non-toxic/not a jerk! We will be a mixed bag of beans so I expect mutual respect towards everyone!

- Be at least 20+

- Be a collaborative roleplayer! You do not need to be a professional actor, but be willing to play off of eachother and share the spotlight! Whether it's a wholesome scene or a tense one, whether the characters are getting along or having a fight, we're contributing to the story together! And remember that in-character fights/drama do not equal out of character drama!

- Be willing to follow the rule of cool! I will be following rules for the most part, however, there will be moments where I'll make allowances/changes for certain scenes or choices made.

- Be committed for a long ride! If all goes well, this game will last for several months or even a year, so only apply if you know you would be willing to stay!

- Have stable internet and a webcam or some sort of camera; We will be roleplaying a lot, so please be willing to show your face!

- Have the ability to use Dndbeyond (character sheets), Foundry (maps/ambience), and Discord (voice & video)
