Hey everyone due to some unforeseen timing schedules we have moved the campaign to Sundays for the homebrew campaign! However, because of this I now have an open campaign slot for 4-5 players for Thursday 5:30PST! If you're looking for a semi-serious campaign where tough choices matter and you can’t min-max encounters come on in!
Set 50 Years after a calamitous event, the world of Sidorica is grim and dark. A massive blue crystal sits in the center of the land, tall as a mountain and large as a country it gives magic to every single being, however that was before the event. Now it sits dormant and black, magic only entrusted to the foulest of soul or those who understand true hardship. Trust is low and a majority of the world will not share what they have without something in return. Death is brimming around every corner and the selfish nature has consumed many people, causing mass raids and ravenous monster attacks. This however is simply a concern for common folks. This could have been your daily life or perhaps you were of noble birth and were spared such atrocities.
Nevertheless, you wake up one day to find a crimson crystal (3-5 inches) attached somewhere on your body. Humming with a strange arcane energy it draws malice and omens to all who find themselves cursed enough to hold one. You seek help with the local doctor, the next day they are found dead and gutted. You feel fine but at the same time, another person close to you falls ill or is attacked by a monster. Its not long before people connect some dots and blame you for recent deaths and attacks. Be it fearing for your love one’s lives or your own, you flee your home; feeling a tug towards a general direction. After weeks of travel, you hear tales of adventures hunting these crystals and their source, followed by tales of the horrors that occurred in their wake.
Bearing the curse, you find yourself drawn to finding a way to remove such a thing from your body and make your way to the source of these tales, for better or worse.....
*Extra details: Combat heavy campaign 70% combat 30% rp, session last between 2.5-4 Hours, extra goodies for the players in a reward systems (battle pass design [free of course], loads of homebrew items and locations, fun player sided homebrew rules [Max crits, ect]. (Very light character backstory most of it will be in the campaign but rarely ill throw in character arcs.

Are you comfortable with 2.5 - 4 Hour sessions?: yes, but it depends on when the session starts, it starts at 5:30 PM right? I'm CST, so that would be 3:30 PM for me
playstyle: I usually play cautiously and inspect pretty much everything, I like to think I'm pretty logical.
Player expectation for the campaign: I hope this works well for somebody who can play at any time, I can bring a friend or two who might wanna play!
Experience level: I've played for about 6 months, but understand most of the basics such as saving throws, stat blocks, and spells and such.
[Required]Do you have access to a computer or laptop (for VTT): yes, I have access to a laptop.
My name is Jonny, and I'm really interested in joining your Campaign. I am 29 and fairly new to D&D, but I've been getting really into it lately and I am really excited to actually complete my first campaign with new friends.
i'm Still learning the rules, but I'm committed to improving and being a good player. I'm respectful of everyone's time, I will show up prepared, and genuinely want to grow and contribute to the story. I am especially interested in character development and collaborative storytelling.
If you are open to newer players, I'd really appreciate the opportunity to join and learn from the group. thanks for considering me!
Experience level and background. I'm old and have hundreds of hours playing original, which I bought at the local game store, to 2.0, might have had some 3.5 but don't remember. 20 years plus out of playing. Brother and I have become asses when we play together so I need a new group.

class: don't know, I haven't rolled anything up yet. I don't understand Psion or Sorcerer.
Comfortable with the 2.5 - 4-hour sessions. no problem. I am in the PST zone.
Playstyle: Loot hobo. If I can fit, it on a Tenser's disk I am bringing it back for my yet to be built shop of ? Combo of Check everything and It's a trap. Looking for NPC allies and waiting for a stab in the back. Dead is usually the best status condition; I usually ask my questions then. I love the knowledge/ research aspect of the classes for finding in game clues. I like to play a fairly skilled player, so all of the bases are covered.
Player expectation: real world tech help on making this all work. I understand all of the jargon but have really never used much of it. I would rather hit things with a hammer. I can roll play but my native English sentence structure skills suck. The chances of me miss reading a spell or narrative rule are pretty good. I am going to need some help on how it does and does not function. I have all of the print books for 2024 (not all Tasha's or Monster of the Multiverse) you mentioned but no PDF versions.
Am I supposed to "friend" you to get the crimson_fox. thing to work?
I have access to a laptop if I travel and a desktop at home.
Awesome we’ve reached 6 players! That being said if you haven’t received an invite stay tune in case a player can’t make it or a scheduling conflict occurs.
