I’m putting together an online D&D 5e group for Dragon of Icespire Peak from the Essentials Kit, and I’m looking for 5–6 reliable players who want to build a fun, welcoming, and consistent table.
I’m a new DM, but I’m taking this seriously and want to put together a group with good energy, solid communication, and people who are genuinely excited to show up and play. My goal is to run a game that feels fun, immersive, cooperative, and worth sticking with.

Hello, I’m interested in seeing if I’m a fit for this group and would like to play Dragons of Icespire Peak with all of you.
- I answer to Zach or Gith
- 42 years young
- American Eastern (GMT-5)
- Been playing under 5e rules consistently since late 2023.
- My availability runs any day besides Tuesday, between 8:30am to ~4:00pm, though I am available all day every other Sunday.
- Forefront ideas: Firbolg Barbarian with a desire to become a great merchant or Kalashtar Bard who wishes to run an underground crime syndicate. But, I consider myself versatile.
- I enjoy roleplay most, particularly inter-character roleplay that allows characters’ backstories to slowly unfold.
If you feel like I might strike a chord, my username on Discord is “its_gith” Thank you for your time and consideration.
Tay: Teifling bard part of a traveling performing caravan. Example Motivation --> Inspire joy and soften even the hardest hearts, leaving behind a legacy of beauty and song that connects the living with their ancestors. Justice: Deciding between Forge Domain Cleric or a sort of barbarian weapon smith.
An orc fighter who is a mutinied captain of the high seas, on a quest to heal his lover from arcane disease and to get revenge and steal his ship, also wants to help the needy and defenseless
What you enjoy most in D&D... Exploration, story, and combat
D&D experience level: newbie (roughly 5-6 hours of gameplay)
Which of the listed days/times work best for you: all of those days work for me
A character idea you might want to play: Tiefling Blood Hunter or maybe I would restart my Elf Rogue that is currently level 4 for this campaign.
What you enjoy most in D&D (roleplay, combat, exploration, story, etc.): I think a good story is essential to DnD, combat can be confusing but it is very fun, and most likely my favourite part.
Name/Nickname: Vanilla (not my real name if that's ok)
Age (18+?): I'm under 18
Timezone: WIB / GMT+7
D&D experience level: Very very new, like this is my first campaign, but I do know basic rules (i think)
Which of the listed days/times work best for you: I'm completely free on Sunday but for Monday I'm only available at 4:30pm until 7pm and I can't on tuesdays
A character idea you might want to play: someone who tries to prove herself to be someone capable to others
What you enjoy most in D&D: I like most of those but I feel like story and exploration will be my favorites
Additional: I'm not sure if I can use face cam cause well I'm a minor and feel uncomfortable with showing my face to strangers
D&D experience level: This would be my second campaign. My party and I were unable to finish the first campagin I played, but it was anm incredibly fun experience.
I have an open schedule
I have my previous character who was a Goblin Cleric and I thought it would be fun to play a less combat focused character like a human rogue who is a doctor. I found the dynamic between characters from my last playthrough to be quite entertaining and wanted to expand on that with a character who is more or less a foil for all of the usual over-the-top insane and magical shenanigans.
I enjoy the fact that making mistakes doesn't feel like making mistakes. In the campaign I ran through previously, our party spent essentially 5 days exploring a haunted manor that we were supposed to maybe spend a day in. We missed out on some clearly intentional things that turned into some "OOOOH that was probably what we were supposed to do" moments later. The combination of a patient and well-prepared DM and an engaging set of characters meant that our adventure really felt like one. None of us knew what was going on, and it led to very natural play.
Name / Nickname: Lemon, Lil Lemon, or Nas Lemon X (yes, I dabble in rap names too!)
Age: Proudly over 18.
Timezone: Pacific Time (PST).
D&D Experience Level: I usually run games for my friends, so I’m fairly new to being on the player side of the table. I know my way around dice rolls and character sheets, and my last adventure was with a massive group of nine players—it was chaotic, but honestly a blast!
Availability: Sunday and Monday evenings after 5 PM PST are perfect. When I’m not rolling dice, you’ll probably catch me online playing Marvel Rivals or Stardew Valley.
Character Idea: I like to match my character to the tone of the campaign. If the vibe is short and quirky, I’d love to play a Goblin Wizard. If it’s more heroic and adventurous, a Dwarf Paladin sounds epic. Really, I’m open to experimenting with class combos I haven’t tried yet—my only rule is that it has to be fun.
What I Enjoy Most in D&D: The lore, the setting, and the story are what hook me. I love worlds with rich backgrounds, diverse characters, and quests that feel fresh and exciting. Combat that flows smoothly and feels cinematic is a huge plus. It’s the same reason I love Star Wars, the Marvel Universe, and even Naruto—these worlds thrive on diversity, superpowers, and stories that keep you invested.
