Game: D&D 2024 with some homebrew elements Group type: Online DM Experience: New. Players Experiencie: We have two players with several years of experience. New players or those with some experience are welcome to join. We just ask for patience with the DM. Location/Timezone: We are three friends located in different time zones (GMT -6, GMT -7, GMT +8). Schedule: We will meet on Thursdays, once a week at 8:00 PM GMT -6 so that we can all play. Roles sought: We are looking for two players. Game style: We'll be playing a campaign I created for my friends. It blends puzzles, mystery, and combat. The atmosphere combines fantasy, cyberpunk, and steampunk elements.
More info: The campaign format will be PBP, once a week. Each session will last three hours or longer if everyone is enthusiastic. We'll start at level 3 and aim to reach level 10 or lower (for now, the intention is for it to be a short campaign). We'll level up following Milestone. Scores for skills will be determined by rolling dice.
About the campaign: Caeriz is a vast, multifaceted, and complex world. Its nine continents seem to embody different worlds where arcane magic and technology intertwine on distinct levels, producing unique social relationships. While not perfect, the tensions within each continent haven't yet spilled beyond its borders. Perhaps it's because they are too self-absorbed, or perhaps because life here has taken an unexpectedly tranquil turn, but Caeriz is more of a container of minimal, almost domestic, conflicts. Thus, between one thing and another, the daily rhythm of the world is harmonious... but not for long. An ancient rumor has begun to stir, and only a group of... heroes? unfortunate individuals? have begun to listen. "First came sound, then silence. The skies and the waters flowed without ever meeting—no matter how hard they tried—until a great nine-headed serpent became the surface itself. She is the support, the earth that sustains and allows the world 'outside' or 'above' to exist. In fact, the 'inside' or 'below' are also her creation. Her body has no limit, no end, nor a reverse side," is what can be read on a lost obelisk. The ancestors called her the Base of the World, and it was upon her that continents and empires were built. Below, life also found a place underground. Thus, the skies took root in the mountains, and water found its place in the earth. The nine are one, and one is all of them at the same time. Each possesses a secret name and her own interests. They have never been able to see one another, but they share all their thoughts. Despite this, today few know anything about the Base of the World. Those who speak openly about it are usually executed, imprisoned, or confined to asylums. Not because the world actively denies its existence, but because ignorance is so widespread that it is easier to dismiss the incomprehensible. Now, in the Village of Dry Gravel, where the Sanctuary of the Beam is located, a fissure has opened, and one of the nine has gazed at the world above with ambition.
In this campaign, we will focus on the search for one of them. On a continent called Ethereal. In this place, cities with diverse technologies coexist: from the "archaic" to "steampunk" and "cyberpunk". As you might expect, the head of the colossal serpent is hidden away and will present distinct challenges, compounded by the continent's internal tensions.

Hello! I am interested. I only played PbP once (well ongoing) so I'm still new and getting the hang of it.
As for the time, I just want to double check since I am in PST zone. So, the 8 pm GMT is 12pm PST, correct? That is what I searched.
