Game style: I'm hosting a 4 hour one shot that includes an optional tutorial that prepares uninitiated casual players for online play.  You'll be introduced to the D&D Beyond Character Creation tool, the Maps VTT, Discord and will receive access to a wealth of sourcebook materials to get deeper into the class/species options available- we'll take time to empower you to play the character you want, no matter what a book says.  We'll test out different styles of roleplaying (that don't involve voice-acting), sharing the spotlight, and collaborative storytelling.  After you've learned how to make use of the dice rolls - we'll play a solid one-shot as a group!   You'll walk away from this session understanding the basic mechanics and rules, and how to access and read the books.  The game will be hosted through Startplaying.   As the Dungeonmaster I host games that are relaxed, fun, freeing while remaining focused on the fiction and fantasy.  I achieve this by having decades of experience in playing this game, bringing people together, and bringing people together to play this game.  My game style is roleplay heavy with immersive add-ons like studio-quality audio, improvisational roleplaying, high-quality battlemaps, and more.  

All you'll need to do is log on to your Discord account and hop into a voice chat and I'll guide you through the rest!
