Horror One Shot: Death House! New players welcome! [Tonight][Sunday 6 pm EDT][Welcome to all][4/12]

Come one come all to these cursed halls! Explore the Durst family manner in the village of Barovia. 

I am looking for anyone who would like to take part in this horror one shot tonight! New to D&D? Fantastic! I would be happy to help you learn about the game as you unravel the mystery this house holds!

Back Story

You were going about your fantasy life. An eerie mist rolls and accumulates around your location in the same way a gentle fog rolls in. It gets denser as you try to find your way through it. Panic begins to overtake you the density of the mist fills your lungs. You try to scream out but cannot make a sound and precious air leaves your lungs. Like smoke the mist burns your lungs and slows you down. You won't survive long remaining there. Your pace quickens, your flight response kicking in. Vision eludes you and you are unaware of where you are running but one thing is clear; you cannot remain here. After nearly 20 seconds of suffocating, you breach the mist. Your eyes water, your body shakes as you pant and wheeze. Your surroundings are completely unfamiliar to you. A town is spotted in the distance and there is hardly any time to think as the mist in on your heels rolling slowly but surely towards you and the town.

Characters are planned to start at level 1 and using the 2024 (5.5) ruleset
