A flexible, beginner-friendly D&D campaign where every session starts with a new quest. No weekly commitment required. Drop in, choose a quest, face danger, make a difference, earn what you can, and return whenever you’re ready for another adventure.
This is a drop-in Adventurer’s Guild campaign set in and around Phandalin and the North. Players take on guild quests suited to their character level and availability. Each session is designed as a focused adventure, but success is not guaranteed, and choices can affect future quests, NPCs, locations, and the wider region.
Player count: 3 players suggested. Quests can be run with 1 person.
Experience level: beginner friendly
Age requirement: 18+
Cost: $25 USD / session
Rules We run Rules as Written to ensure everyone comes in on equal footing and the game has consistency.
New Characters Create your character on DnDBeyond.com, using the campaign link provided, or use your own account, set it to Public, and share the link with your DM. Your character must be shared to be approved. This allows us to review the character and copy the character into Foundry.
Level: All new characters come in at level 1 and can take Copper quests (for level 1 and 2). As you level up, look out for game sessions offering Silver quests or above (Silver is for levels 3 to 6)
Pre-made characters are available.
Leveling: XP is tracked per character. You can bring in another character later with the same XP as your highest XP in-campaign character, if you wish. This allows you to try different character ideas as the campaign evolves.
Allowed Species, Classes, Backgrounds, and Feats: All official Species, Classes, Feats and backgrounds, except Ravenloft species, Ebberon dragon mark feats, and Dragonlance backgrounds. All 3rd party materials written by Marble Fox Games / Right As Game.
HP: Full HP at 1st level, then roll or take the average. You can change your mind per level, but once applied it's final. All roles must be done in a session, and declared.
Campaign Style The campaign leans heroic fantasy with exploration, combat, roleplay, and problem-solving. Players are expected to work with the party, respect the table, and treat the game world as persistent. This is not a murderhobo campaign, and actions can have consequences. Each adventure can end in success or setback. Do not expect to "win" because you're the PCs.
What is Drop-In? You do not need to attend every week. Players can sign up for the sessions that fit their schedule. Your character's efforts offer rewards and reputation at a pace that fits your schedule. Every new session will have several level-appropriate quests available. Your party chooses the one to pursue and off you go. There are no bad choices. Choose and have fun.
Player Expectations: Players should be respectful, reliable when they sign up, ready to use voice chat, and willing to play cooperatively. Beginners are welcome, but everyone is expected to learn their character or take suggestions and be ready to participate.
