Hi there! I'm Cherry and I’m currently looking for a long-term DND campaign to join as a player. My preferred schedule would be Mondays at 8PM Arizona MST, ideally biweekly, but weekly can work too depending on the campaign and group. Free to play games only please
A bit about me as a player:
I'm 20+ and I’ve got around 3 and a half years of DND experience from playing in multiple long-term campaigns and DMing two of my own. I’m very roleplay focused and I really enjoy character interaction, party dynamics, emotional moments, and collaborative storytelling. I like making sure everyone at the table feels included, especially quieter players who may not always jump into conversations themselves. I try to help bring other characters into scenes naturally so everyone gets moments to shine.
I’m also very communication-oriented as a player. I can sometimes take things a little too literally or misunderstand wording, so I really value tables where people are willing to communicate openly and clarify things instead of letting issues sit unresolved. I try to be as helpful as possible to both the players and the DM without overstepping or interrupting.
As for the kind of table I’m looking for:
Heavy roleplay and character-driven stories (I'm not a very big fan of campaigns where everything is combat and hardly any time to get to know each other's characters)
A group that enjoys emotional moments and party bonding
LGBTQ+ friendly
Players who enjoy collaborative storytelling instead of trying to “win” D&D
A DM who likes character backstories actually mattering in the world
Serious story moments mixed with fun/lighthearted character interactions
The character I’m hoping to play is Rune, a changeling cleric of the Passion Domain from a wealthy family of renowned healers. Despite their privileged upbringing, Rune strongly believes medical care should belong to everyone, not just those who can afford it. They’re extremely energetic, compassionate, talkative, and completely devoted to helping people, to the point of being an outright pacifist who refuses to harm others, but can be a very useful battlefield controller and ability buffer for those who will do damage.
Rune spent years traveling from town to town offering free medical aid, dancing in taverns, getting tangled up in people’s lives, and learning what it means to truly connect with others outside their sheltered upbringing. During those travels they fell deeply in love with someone who later disappeared under mysterious circumstances, leaving Rune searching for answers while still trying to hold onto hope.
Mechanically they’re a support-focused cleric built around healing, utility, and roleplay rather than damage.
If I sound like a good fit for your campaign, feel free to reach out to me on Discord @ Cherry_Lace223
