married couple looking for a 5e 2014 ruleset CoS group and DM

hi everyone! :)

we are new to dnd, but i have played ten candles and a ton of ttrpg-based computer games (bg3, wotr, wh40krt, etc), and my partner has participated in a oneshot before

i am located in the US (ET), while he is currently in Europe (GMT+3), so we would like to get into a game that would be taking place in his evening, my morning/noon on the weekends. we are particularly interested in the Curse of Strahd, or something similar, as in a horror/gothic setting, with an equal distribution between exploration/roleplay/combat

i have a warlock with a custom background and a character sheet ready, but i am open to making changes if needed
