Playstyle: 60/40 Roleplay to Combat (my goal is combat occurs every other session though can happen more often as well) Schedule: Each campaign runs on a different schedule but all are biweekly, see below for specific details on each story! Openings: Each story is at different points currently, two have started while one is waiting to begin Cost: $20 per session
The World
Etheri is a homebrew world in which the very Essence of Magic bleeds into the surface creating a radioactive effect that causes most people to have innate magical abilities. (Yes this means that even Barbarians have access to some magic and poses a new question... what happens when a Barbarian is able to cast Fireball?) This magical radiation has left much of the world scarred and monsters altered in strange manners.
The Pantheon of this world, the 7 Scales and 7 Fangs, have long since removed themselves from the constant strife watching to see if it will be the forces of good or forces of evil that will prevail. Will you aid the Scales in bringing about justice and compassion or the Fangs with their desire for chaos and anarchy.
The Concept
Below will be a list of three different campaigns all taking place within the world of Etheri. Each band of adventurers are fighting for their own cause and combating their own great evil. Though as each story reaches its climax the adventurers will come together in the end as they discover who, or what, has been orchestrating each and every altercation.
The GM
My name is Charles!
The GM with an infectious laugh, more dad jokes than you can handle, and a love for storytelling.
I have been playing TTRPGs for about 18 years now and GMing for 16 of them. Since my days as a theatre kid in high school to now as an elementary school counselor, D&D and Pathfinder have always been a part of my life. I tend to write homebrew campaigns and homebrew worlds in which the players can truly have an impact on the overarching world in little to large scopes. I believe in player agency while also ensuring the comfort and enjoyment of all at my table. My goal is to create stories together that bring a spark of excitement and joy to your heart and eyes!
I will always ensure that my Discord community and my sessions are a place of love, acceptance, and enjoyment. I heavily prioritize the safety of my players. This is a LGBTQ+ and allies safe space!
Let's go on an adventure!
My Style:
If you're looking for heavy, high-stakes roleplay that has vibes from the Tell Tale series (The GM Will Remember That), heart pounding combat with more ways to defeat enemies than "whack it 'til dead", puzzles that will make you despise cutting that one highschool geometry class, and nonstop laughter then I'm your GM! I try to find a balance that all players may be able to enjoy themselves, throwing in wild voices for notable NPCs, including massive lore for the lore hunters, and prime targets for those who just want a dash of chaos. I'm extremely beginner friendly as well as LGBTQIA2S+ friendly. If you're a veteran or a newbie I'd love to give you tales to tell around the table!
All of my games are 18+
Please have Roll20, Discord, and a reliable Microphone
Campaign 1: Dawn of Dragons
Have you ever wanted to slay a dragon and then use its remains to empower your spells, reinforce your armor, or craft a deadly weapon? Then you're in luck! Dawn of Dragons is an original homebrew Gritty Epic Fantasy for D&D 5E that will combine Heavy Roleplay and Heavy Combat to create session after session of nail biting - edge of your seat moments!
Every journey will be a dance with death as you and your party traverse the harsh lands of Ekross protecting the lands from the dragon menace all while they hunt you. However, don't think that this will be a simple dragon hunting campaign as the continent is filled with political intrigue, secrets to unveil, and a delightful cast of NPCs to fall in love with or hate with every fiber of your being.
The road is never empty. Pilgrims, merchants, soldiers, and wanderers all move beneath the same sky, bound together by fragile hopes and shared danger. In this world, faith is not an abstract ideal—it is something people do: walking long miles for healing, lighting candles for loved ones, trusting that someone, somewhere, is listening. The Church of Ashen Oath stands at the center of this belief, not as an unquestioned monolith, but as a presence woven into everyday life. Whether you kneel, doubt, or simply pass through, its influence touches everyone.
You begin as ordinary adventurers caught up in extraordinary moments—guarding pilgrim caravans, escorting clergy through dangerous lands, and taking on freelance work that pulls you into the lives of common folk. The early story is grounded and human: campfires on the roadside, frightened families on the move, quiet gratitude after a danger passed. Trust is earned through action, not destiny, and the world responds to you not as chosen heroes, but as people who showed up when it mattered.
As your reputation grows, so does the complexity of the world around you. Power does not always announce itself as evil, and good intentions do not always lead to good outcomes. Political interests, social pressure, and conflicting beliefs begin to collide—not in neat lines, but in uncomfortable questions and morally gray decisions. The story unfolds slowly, allowing relationships, ideals, and consequences to develop naturally over time.
Ashes Beneath the Altar is a long-term, character-driven campaign that values emotional investment as much as epic adventure. It is a story about what people believe, what they protect, and how small choices can reshape entire systems. This is not a tale of blind devotion or simple rebellion—it is a journey through a living world where meaning is negotiated, loyalty is tested, and heroism is defined by empathy as much as strength.
The seas of Etheri belong to dreamers, pirates, treasure hunters, and fools reckless enough to chase freedom beyond the horizon.
Across the storm-torn waters of the Shattered Archipelago, rival crews battle for gold, glory, ancient relics, and infamy among hundreds of scattered islands. From bustling pirate ports and hidden smuggler dens to forgotten ruins swallowed by the sea, adventure waits beyond every tide.
But something is wrong in the Archipelago.
Ships vanish without warning. Entire crews disappear overnight. Survivors whisper of haunting songs drifting through the fog and monstrous shapes moving beneath black waters. As paranoia spreads among the pirate lords, your crew will uncover an ancient force awakening deep below the sea—one capable of dragging all of Etheri into madness.
Will you become legends… or another ghost story swallowed by the waves?
