Veteran DM Homebrew Campaign Looking for 2 players +25

Group type: Online

Experience: Any, I am tactical focused and i'll adapt to the parties capabilities.

Timezone: US Eastern, I am open to other time zones.

Schedule: Weekly on Tuesdays at 11:00pm Eastern. 

Roles sought: I'm fairly open with just a few restrictions due to the homebrew world.

Introduction: I am a writer and veteran DM and I'm looking for 2 players for a homebrew DND campaign world called Fryktarn for a 2 hour and 30 min. campaign. Ideally I want to send players through an adventure with exploration, roleplaying, tactical combat and world building. My campaign is Dark Fantasy with so I put the age restriction at 25. The average age range of the players in our group is around 33. I'm doing this for fun and also because I enjoy experimenting with homebrew monsters and items so no payment required! I make sure everyone is a good fit for the game first and I have zero tolerance for bullying or toxic behavior.

Homebrew Preface: Fryktarn is an island isolated by geography from the rest of the world. It hosts the most feared structure in the world, the great tower of sixty thousand floors, it’s peak cannot be seen, it's spire blocks out the sun. Monsters dwell in this tower, spreading on the continent akin to a vile pestilence. Portals ravage the world unleashing abominations, the undead prey on the living and demons rule entire cities.  Only the Tower Raiders protect civilization from the brink of extinction. Welcome to Fryktarn the Forbidden Island!

Gameplay Rules and Homebrew Restrictions: I use flanking and fog of war in my game, I also homebrew my own monsters and magic items. Gunpowder and certain other technologies do not work on Fryktarn, this also means Warforged are banned. Aasimar are also a no go because it would put the character in too much danger. Other then that I am open to anything else, even homebrew is fine with me as long it fits the world and it isn't overpowered. 

Tech: I use DND Beyond, Discord, and Owl Bear for maps.

If you still are searching for people - I am in my late 30s, ~5 years of D&D 5e and Pathfinder 2e experience. I am flexible class and race-wise. I like to have a good mix of RP and combat in the games and lean into RP that other players and DM initiate. I haven't played a Dark Fantasy setting before, though I have a thick skin and have no problem with it. Hope to hear from you and join to have lots of fun in that world.

Hello! I would also like to throw my name in to join. I just had to leave a homebrew campaign due to changing jobs/work hours. I used to work in the food service industry, but now I work a Mon-Fri desk job and I'm home by 6pm every night, PDT. I'm on a couple of West Marches style servers on Discord, but I would love to join a longer term campaign again. 

I would consider myself a vetran(-ish). I think I'll fit nicely into your average age range. I started playing 3.5 many years ago, took an almost decade break from campaigning, but recently got back into it via online gaming through Discord and vtt platforms, including Owl Bear Rodeo.
