LFP: Existing 5e campaign (Level 13)

Game: D&D 5e  (sandbox world)
Group type: Online w/D&D Beyond, DDB Maps, Discord for voice
Experience: veteran GM
Location/Timezone: I'm in the Caribbean but the players are across the US/UK/EU
Schedule: FRIDAYs... 3-hr session. Start time currently 5:30pm EST (the earliest I can start for my EU/UK players' benefit)
Roles sought: Need 1-2 adventurers to bolster the party due to losses from IRL
Game style: Mix of Roleplay and Rollplay, aka Melee... some offline posts to fill in gaps, plenty of roleplay when opportunity strikes, and frequent combat when it's a monster that strikes instead! 

Existing campaign with a mix of US/EU/UK players, which dictates our time slot. We've lost some PCs due to IRL impacts of various sorts, like job schedule changes, etc. We find we need to recruit some interested heroes who may be looking to achieve great goals, or even one who's trying to make amends for some past mistake. In any case, the campaign has recently finished a major arc and new goals and milestones are being established; so it's a perfect time (for me) to tie some new backgrounds into the plot line(s) moving forward! 

You'd be starting at Level 13!    (SOON LEVEL 14!)

(I just got the 2024 PHB not too long ago, so I haven't read it all yet. You may bring in an orig rules/2014 character, or build it with the 2024 book. We're working on the transition as we go. I'll send you a screenshot of how to configure your character creation starter page.)  

Shoot me a PM and we can discuss character options, backgrounds, etc., and get you kitted out... Once you got your basic framework done, I'll roll up some magic and coin for this point in your adventuring life. 

Currently we have a Bugbear Blood Hunter with a Mother complex and shades of herself when things get... complicated. A new caster PC  (existing player swapping in a new PC) is a Jack-Of-All-Arcane but mystic master of none with the soul of a bard. We just picked up an Elven Cleric who's on the hunt for a demon lord who's creating problems in the area. Finally, there's a Firbolg Druid that makes random appearances (cursed wouldn't ya know!) when he can get his RL work schedule to cooperate.  

We use Discord for our voice, you'll use your DDB campaign character sheet along with DDB's Maps, to interact with and view this world. We've been using "Improved Initiative" for our combat tracker. (Maps has a relatively new combat tracker function that's still being developed, so we haven't adopted that just yet.)

Your campaign sounds like fun and I'm keenly interested. Veteran Dnd player using VTT and pencil/paper. I enjoy playing in groups where people respect each other and the time set aside for the game while having a good time. Deledius_Vastor on discord.
