Hey! I’m Anthony (18-25, ftm), and I'm looking to get into a new Dnd campaign!
Game: D&D 5e Group type: Online Experience: New / Rusty Location/Timezone: EST Schedule: (W, Th, F), Flexible schedule that can be discussed further Roles sought: Player Game style: Roleplay/narrative driven, 70/30 split of RP to combat (Prefer a serious plot with moments of levity sprinkled throughout)
About me:
I’d love to be in a group of people who are as passionate about writing as I am. For me, making a character is like observing a bug in a jar, and doing it in a group is like having a terrarium of critters for me to study. Even though I haven’t played a proper game in years, I still regularly do text based roleplay with my friends in character, both to flesh out mine, and learn about theirs! I think it's so fun to put myself in my character shoes, discover their biases, mannerisms, and the unique things that distinguish them among my cast of OCs.
Instead of focusing on flashy gimmicks or a lore-dense backstory, I tend to think of a primary arc for my character to undergo during the process of the campaign. I think a compelling dilemma can make even the most ordinary of characters shine in the spotlight.
I’m totally up to do a bit of text roleplay in between sessions (not necessarily impacting the plot, just for fun) with the other players. I’m not just looking for a campaign to join, but a new group of friends! :-)
I’m currently taking online courses to build a portfolio to enter the gaming industry. I pour quite a bit of love into my personal art and researching different cultures for inspiration. I’m looking to immerse myself in a world and get invested in a gripping plot. I’m always looking for my next artistic muse.
Some dealbreakers:
NSFW (romantic plotlines and fade to blacks are alright)
Usage of ai for art and writing, from dm and other players.
Please reach out with details about your campaign if you think we’re a good fit!
Hey Lobster, i have a fridays 7pm est that could take anothjer player in a queer group playing trough the world of critical role exandria, narrative driven group and i think could be what you are after!
I run a long term Home brew campaign that is 70.30 RP/combat maybe even 75/25. A spot just opened up. We play 8am my time (PST) half of my players are from europe. Sessions run 3 to 3 hours max. Weekly. We are looking to fill the spot with a very active player..both in session and between sessions dong 1v1 RPs with the many NPCs of the world. The NPC interactions and info gained from them drives the world arc. the world is deep in lore/history/rumors and many plot lines. I have been running this campaign for almost 20 years. Always improving it after each campaign completes. Been DMing for over 35 years now.
