Ive been a forever Gm and i want to change that. (my time is eastern standerd)

I've been DMing for 3 years, and I want to play as a support character or a melee character who servers as the big kind guy. He wants to make sure the party is doing mentally well or make sure they don't do too many bad things. I kind of want a little homebrew, but I can exist without it. I just want plenty of role play. The past 3 DnD campaigns I've tried to be a player in have had the roleplay be either non-existent or only after session and written in text logs. I'm not playing in a table low of roleplay because I want to interact. I don't care if my backstory has little stage presence as long as I can hang and chat with my fellow players. I just wanna be able to do the things other players aren't so keen to do so everyone can have fun. If the other players don't want to fight much, I'll make a character that's great at fighting to speed along the combat. If y'all need a healer, I GOT YOU. I just wanna be able to chat with my fellow players as well. I'm 22, queer and my discord is ferris7127. I can do any day that's not Sunday. eastern standard is my time zone and i can play between 6pm to 1am
