Main Story
Dominions follows an ancient conflict between the Forerunners and the Precursors. The Forerunners are an ancient race whose descendants are scattered across countless worlds, carrying unique gifts passed down through generations. Their enemies, the Precursors, are mysterious creatures whose only purpose is to hunt them down.
As descendants of the Forerunners, your characters will travel between worlds, forge new alliances, uncover forgotten histories, and search for the powerful Devil's Dominion artifacts before the Precursors can get to them first. Every world has its own cultures, conflicts, and mysteries to discover, so there's always something new waiting around the corner.
One of Brian's favorite parts of DMing is working with players to create characters that truly belong in the setting. Because of that, we'd prefer if you didn't come in with a fully premade character. Instead, Brian will help you build one after you've learned about the world, weaving your backstory into the campaign so your character has meaningful ties to the story from the very beginning.
Our group is very roleplay-focused. Combat is definitely part of the game, but we're the type of group that's just as happy spending an entire session talking to NPCs, uncovering mysteries, or developing our characters. We're looking for people who enjoy collaborative storytelling and get just as excited about everyone else's character moments as they do their own.
Romance is a big part of the campaign, though any intimate scenes will fade to black. The world will also feel lived-in, with detailed worldbuilding and NPCs who have their own stories, relationships, and character arcs. If you’re uncomfortable with NPC/PC romance, please let us know in the Google form.

Multiple players at the table are proudly LGBTQIA+, so we’re looking for players who share these values. Everyone at the table will be respected, included, and comfortable.
You don't need to be great at accents or voice acting; we certainly aren't! What matters most is that you're excited to roleplay, collaborate, and tell a memorable story with the group.
We're also hoping to find players who can commit to a long-term campaign. Brian puts an incredible amount of time, creativity, and passion into this world, so reliability, communication, and enthusiasm are very important to us.
