New player looking for a group/campaign [Northeast USA, EST]

I am just starting to play DnD, but my in-person group doesn't meet very often. I can commit to every other week, but I am flexible if it ends up being less or more frequent. I am off Friday - Sunday and have availability Weds and Thurs in the evening for a few hours (until 10 pm). I do not have a preference for character build, but am currently playing as a warrior in my group, and am happy to continue that if needed. I can play via Teams, Zoom, and Discord but am open to other platforms as well.

My group is looking for another player as one of our guys needs to step away for a bit. We play every friday nights 6pm CST / 7 PM EST. Playing through discord vc and use roll 20 as our maps. 

At the moment we are playing a Dragons of Icespire peak game at level 4. But are looking to run a little halloween one shot in October. 

We are a pretty chill group. We like to have fun with things. We use a mix of dnd set rules and homebrewing. Im the DM. Im pretty chill about how ever you want to play as long as its balanced and not over powerful. I just want to have fun and let the players go wild. Within reason.
