D&D Beyond
Hello everyone, my name is Gin and our newly launching Horror based game is looking for some players. We use Discord for our voice chat and Roll20 for hosting the games. Our session 0 will be held Tuesday December 4th at 8pm EST. However, since we are a online group, as long as you can make it to the game according to your time zone it is fine. Currently we are composed of :
- Horsefolk Barbarian
- Yuan-Ti Wizard
The game will be adapting two additional rules called the [System Shock] and the [Stress System]. We are also allowing additional races listed [Here] and any listed in the official d&d 5E material (of course). If you'd like to play any homebrewed class or race other than those mentioned please ask and under DM's review it'll be given a yes or no. The players will be starting at Level 1.
" Randerfolt was a properous city, with nobles and merchants dominating the place, but one day a misterious darkness fell into the place without warning, it begun consuming the city, and after that the world. Everything that the strange phenomenon consumed never came back, after millenia had passed this darkness, now known as "the void" had stopped increasing but at this point half of the world had been consumed by darkness, and with its stop, came the adventurers. They where curious beings with dreams and weapons on their back, each one of them had a different reason to be there being riches or to reverse this all consuming void. Many adventurers tryied but none came back, until one day the knight Ashen Caresin returned, he had ventured with a group of 20 soldiers to a expedition in the order of King Crestan, the guards where amazed when they saw that sir Caresin came back, but their amazement quickly feel into despair when they saw his face. The face was one of terror with no life, his walk was slow and heavy, as his eyes didnt stray away from the ground, the guards quickly took him to the king to make his report, but what they where about to hear werent tales of glory, but ones of terror. A few years after that a city named "Hope" was build in the border of the void so adventurers could go in, and to make sure they knew the way back they made the "Guiding Guardian" a giant watchtower that produced light into the void. And now this is where your story begins with just you and your companions that you met in the way here, will this be a story of glory or treasures or only a gruling death awaits you? "

Likes: food but unfortunately he no longer needs to eat. Loves animals but they almost never love him back.
Fears: Spiders, the voices he hears in his head, being underground makes him nervous Backstory: Elric Emberstone died at the age of 96 over 500 years ago. He was born into a black smith family growing up as apart of clan that worshiped the elemetal god claiming dominion over the fires of the world. A temple was built in the heart of an ancient volcano to honor him. Elric was named the leader of his clan and overseer to the temple by the age of 28. The clan had great success over his rule for over 60 years, his techniques and battle strategies were advanced for his time, so advanced that they are still being used today. Elric has been summoned back to life in a Warforged body. It is unknown who built the Warforged body, but a dark magic was used to awaken Elric, he can sometimes hear unknown voices in his head. Elric doesn’t know why he was brought back to life but he has vowed to use his second chance to protect the innocent, banish the wicked and bring balance back to the world through his own means of justice.

Backstory: After accidentally setting fire to an inn because he was refused service for being different, he became terrified of the power within him and is trying to learn how to control it. He is generally easy going and likes company as his biggest fear is being an outcast and alone again. He desperately wants to make up for his past and the innocent lives lost.
