Game: D&D 5e Group preferred: Online Experience: 3 months as a player Location/Timezone: United States Central Standard Time Availability: Tuesday before 4:00 CST I've played part of a three-month campaign and had fun with that, but due to a full schedule couldn't keep committed to it.
I would see a message fastest on Discord: Kyrithes#9860
The group was with for the three-month campaign I was playing with wasn't very experienced (including myself). The DM hadn't had a lot of knowledge to come up with more interesting encounters and usually just went with what was directly in text in the MM, DMG, etc., and role-play was somewhat lacking. The players weren't very experienced in the role-playing aspect of DnD, and that felt a little lacking to me as well.
I had read over the rules of 5e (obsessively) and could quote rules by heart, but none of us were experienced enough to be able to become our characters. Without the flavor of good role-play, the dryness of mechanics never satisfied me.
I'm hoping to join a group where I can learn and practice my role-play and grow as a player in a unique story. I want to be better with a story I can be a part of so eventually, I can create a story as a DM.
