As the title states, not only do I want a fresh campaign to join, I would also like one that can focus on telling a story above all else, while still balancing a fun fight here and there. Here are some notes about what I would like, and I hope they arent overly specific. Just know that each point is adaptable.
[Players]
Although I would prefer to be in a group with MOSTLY decent people (character wise, where most of them arent outright ******bags essentially), I am capable of adapting, so long as its not overwhelmingly brutal, but this is something i mostly cant control (and I get that), and if the situation becomes too scummy and wretched in the party, I would likely leave if it doesnt fully suit my characters interests. Now while I get that some of you may say "well its DND, you gotta deal with it, thats just poor blah blah blah", while you propose an EXCELLENT point, im here to have fun, and often times I can at least LAUGH at the sheer ******* character development, but in terms of my storytelling interests, id rather get lucky with a party that isnt complete scum (again, I dont assume that players who play evil characters are trash, im just talking character wise).
I would also like to be in a beginner friendly group that wont coddle me, but also wont be too strict, I like a flowing and free type of session where we can naturally impact even the most minor of things without being restricted too heavily, but I suppose this is just standard fare right?
[Campaign Length + Setting]
While I would prefer a longer adventure, I can gladly go on shorter ones as well, so long as it can make sense depending on the character im currently using. As for settings, ive noticed that most campaign ideas I seem to like, end up being so deep into the gunpowder age, not even just exclusively to gnomes mind you, that it doesnt feel like fantasy. Im talking pre-steampunk to full blown steampunk, so im looking for a fully traditional fantasy story for the time being
[Schedule]
As of right now, im mostly available during PM hours in Eastern Time (USA), but most of my days are free for, well, the entire day, so I can join in whenever for the most part, so long as the timezones dont **** me over.
[Conclusion]
I hope this helped, and if you have any questions, feel free to ask.
