Game: D&D 5e Group type: Online Experience: Personally, I'm a Veteran Timezone: Central Standard Time (Unites States) Schedule: Preferably sometime over the weekend, but open to interpretation. Roles sought: Three to Four Players with Experience Game style: Most Serious Roleplay (SFW) with a Hardcore Twist
Preferred style of play, and what you want out of a D&D game: I like playing Bards and Rouges and invested in skills such as persuasion and deception. I like getting into my characters a lot and if I feel my character would run, I run.
Preferred length of sessions: With my current schedule 2-6 hours with breaks
Best time to play: Mondays after 4 and possible weekend afternoons (I could work something out though)
Favorite Race: Human (Variant), Half Elf, Dark Elf, Elf
Favorite Class: Rouge, Bard
Character Idea: I have many. Character that would either a Bard, Rouge or even a Fighter. If I get accepted and could converse with other players I could explain more.
Preferred Name: Giasrhen will do. If it's a pain, and I get in, feel free to use my roll20 handle or my real name or character name whatever works for the game and story.
Age: 48
Time Zone: Pacific Time Zone (USA)
Experience with the game: 5E maybe a year, nothing over 5th level. Other games or editions 30+ years.
Preferred style of play, and what you want out of a D&D game: I like exploration and investigating ruins, the reward does not need to be treasure. I like survival and making the most of what you have or making what you can out of what is around you. I enjoy a good story and being able to not only get into a character and background but having the results of the groups actions for good or ill affect the world, at least in the local effect. I prefer not to lead or "Find our own adventures" but will do so if it is required, however I find player lead found adventures rarely are appealing to the entire group.
Preferred length of sessions: 4-6 hours. less than 4 and players rarely settle down and get into their characters for roleplay. Longer than 6 and either something comes up for half the group, people start missing games, or somebody is always getting food or going to the restroom.
Best time to play: Early morning Saturday or Sunday preferably to be finished by 1500 in the afternoon PDT.
Favorite Race: Human
Favorite Class: Multiclasses. I have a hard time sticking to one thing and like to cover what is missing from the group, meaning a little fighting, a little thieving, and always some magic preferably druidic. Though I enjoy being a Jack of all Trades, I do not enjoy playing the Bard or the Warlock.
Character Idea: After reading the commoner class and enjoying some of the ideas it gave me, I would like to be Wizard's Apprentice, the kind to a single old wizard feared and separated from the local town kind, not the in a college university kind. Who still wants to hang out with his "friends" from the village, but whose "friends" are unsure if he is still safe, or himself. Or An Acolyte who was given to the church by his family, an old stuffy religion with long sermons, lots of bookwork, and cleaning, not the Shiny adventuring Paladin type. Which of course the young Acolyte will wish only after the Shiny type.
Preferred style of play, and what you want out of a D&D game: Im looking for a fun role playing group that can sit down for hours and play throughout a campaign or even a long mission. I am in search for a party that needs either a tank (my fighter), a healer (my cleric), or DPS (my ranger). I play mostly every week, always updating and reviewing the best use for my characters. When it comes to preference, I like to play either my ranger or fighter. I am loving my cleric but haven't played him much.
Preferred length of sessions: 6-8 hours, even longer if possible.
Best time to play: I mostly work mornings for my time, I live in California. Usually 11am to 3pm is when Im not available.
Favorite Race: Hill Dwarf
Favorite Class: Fighter and Ranger
Character Idea: Being military experienced, I take the course of action seriously in any battle. Ready to throw myself in harms way in order to protect my allies and friends, I pursue the greatness in the life of battle. Whenever the call is given to me, I answer first and always reply with "I am ready to head out now" with no hesitation.
