A little bit about me, and my gaming preferences. I am currently 18 (Hopefully that doesn't discourage anyone), and planning to attend college for game development and design. I was introduced to D&D at a young age, when my dad would allow me to look at his old AD&D 2nd books. Eventually, I studied that game system, and started running games for my friends. We played that system for a little while, before we gaining interest in D&D 5th edition. I feel story is the most important aspect of the game, and good combat can lead itself well to it. When I DM, I much prefer "theatre of the mind" over using a battle map, as I feel it leads to more cinematic combat. Also, while my games are not always the most serious, I do expect players to give an honest attempt to roleplay. However, "dumb nonsense" is strictly frowned upon. I don't mind the occasional out-game jokes, but try to keep it focused on the game. Lastly, I expect all players to come up with some sort of backstory for their characters; their motivates, their beginnings, and current problems.
If this sounds like something you would want to be a part of, I request that you fill out the form below. The form is to let me get an idea of the type of player you are, who you are, and what you want out of a D&D campaign. I'll get ahold of you through private message if I think you'll be a good fit. However, I am only really looking for five people (the party size I like). So apologies if I can't invite everyone who's interested.

I am hopping to have five players picked out by next weekend, at which point further details can be made based on people.
*All characters will most likely start off at level 1*
Experience with the game: about a years worth of being a DM but i am a new player
Preferred style of play, and what you want out of a D&D game: I want a good time with friends while being able to explore our own characters and the world provided
Preferred length of sessions: about 2-4 hours.
Best time to play: saturday afternoons around 6-7ish.
Favorite Race: I don't really have a particular favorite race as i think they can all be fun depending on how they are used
Favorite Class: mostly all classes look good but cleric and paladin are probably my favorite mechanically while sorcerer and warlock for Roleplay and story
Experience with the game: None but I have wanted to get into D&D for some time
Preferred style of play, and what you want out of a D&D game: More roleplay than combat
Preferred length of sessions: No preference
Best time to play: afternoon or night on Saturdays or Sundays
Favorite Race: Goliath
Favorite Class: I would like to try being a wild sorcerer (I don't really know how to make one but I feel like it would be fun)
Character Idea: I already have a character built but I can make new ones for the story as I'm done to try anything for my first few times (Character has been experimented on by a dark figure to gain the powers of a sorcerer to destroy every member of the race that defeated his kind and drove them from their home)
Best time to play any day after 3pm /besides Thursdays I DM a Campaign From 6pm to 930pm
Favorite Race: Tiefling
Favorite Class: Ranger
Character idea: A Park Ranger that is trying to save her national wildlife park from being shut down. But also willing to make any character fit into a campaign.
Experience with the game: My brother introduced my to Pathfinder when I was 15 and my first OC was a halfling rogue. However, I've only played maybe 3 campaigns total but they were all unfinished and all the groups fell apart. I'm trying to get back into CritRole and TAZ though.
Preferred style of play, and what you want out of a D&D game: Roleplay. Combat is fun, but it's more about the story than strategy for me.
Preferred length of sessions: 1-3 hours
Best time to play: My schedules are incredibly erratic but I always work afternoons (2-10pm), but I can make it work once I know everyone else's schedules.
Favorite Race: Halfling
Favorite Class: Rogue
Character Idea: I thought of an orphaned character that became estranged with their sibling while being raised in an orphanage. The sibling gets in with a thieves guild and the character chooses a more noble path, following in the footsteps of a priest as a cleric. Probably a half-elf or halfling?
Experience with the game: ive played a bit with my friend who runs a campaign but i want to play more frequently because its fun
Preferred style of play, and what you want out of a D&D game: i like to roleplay but i am a bit of a stat nerd which i try keep on the down low and i enjoy most combat encounters rather than social however i am not opposed to social encounters
Preferred length of sessions: few hours can be longer or shorter i do not mind
Best time to play: evenings of Tuesday or Thursdays 6 PM - whenever
Favorite Race: Elf or Half Elves
Favorite Class: warlock
Character Idea: i dont have an idea yet but i would like to listen to the story of the campaigns universe so i can create a appropriate backstory i want to try a new class that i haven't tried before as i mainly play warlock, rouges, fighter, monks
Experience: I've been consistently playing a few different campaigns for a little over a year, most stopped because of people moving around and schedules not working together.
Preferred style: Roleplay. I love a good combat scene but I find it hard to keep focused on the story line and goals when all I'm doing is sitting and waiting for my turn to roll for hours on end. I'm looking to broaden my knowledge of D&D a bit and hone roleplaying skills, but also to make new friends.
Proffered length: around 3 hours, going longer or shorter doesnt bother me if I'm invested in the story enough.
Best time to play: weekday afternoons and sundays are my free times currently, subject to change but I'd work it out and keep the party updated
Favorite race: tiefling
Favorite class: druid
Character idea: I'll build it up once I have more information on the storyline and plot, and what the party needs.
Experience with the game: Absolutely none, but I do wish to get into the game!
Preferred style of play, and what you want out of a D&D game: I want to have some memorable moments from the story, but I also want to be able to fully understand how the combat works.
Preferred length of sessions: Most likely 3 Hours max.
Best time to play: Early afternoon on Sundays.
Favorite Race: Elf
Favorite Class: Bard
Character Idea: A nomadic bard wishing to bring nothing but smiles and assistance to those in need, while also trying to get by.
Preferred style of play, and what you want out of a D&D game: I love creating stories, especially with other people. I'd want to make friends and memories through the game
Preferred length of sessions: 2hr+
Best time to play: usually weekends around 4pmish, but im flexible
Favorite Race: genasi
Favorite Class: fighter
Character Idea: ex-gladiator that has a sand theme. He can manipulate earth to an extent, uses this to distract enemies.
Preferred style of play, and what you want out of a D&D game: I usually play range characters but I'm hoping to try my hands at some melee classes as well.
Preferred length of sessions: Flexible, I'm willing to go as long as the group is willing to play.
Best time to play: Free Sunday and anytime after 1730 on weekdays.
Favorite Race: I'm actually a fan of humans, I like their flexibility, but I also think Firbolgs are pretty badass
Favorite Class: SO far I really enjoyed playing a Bard but there are still many classes I want to try.
Character Idea: Illusionist Wizard or Horizon Walker Ranger. I also would not mind playing a cleric or a bard. A hex bladed warlock would also be pretty cool.
I have other characters I can play. I'm not married to any one idea as there are a ton of classes I want to explore. However, don't take this as a flight risk. Once I begin a campaign I like to play my character well into his level 20 years.
Time Zone: EST + 3 (Brazil) now, but EST + 6 from mid-february onwards (France)
Experience with the game: bought TSR D&D Redbox in 1986. No irl gaming between 1990-2009. Now pretty active online (Mostly PbP).
Preferred style of play, and what you want out of a D&D game: familiarized and pretty happy with 5e, mostly focused on good storytelling and RPG.
Preferred length of sessions: Good to go almost every day, but Play-by-Post is prefered style because of its flexibility and creative writing opportunities.
Best time to play: 7am-10am EST, 6pm-10pm EST
Favorite Race: Human
Favorite Class: Rogue / Ranger / Monk / Fighter / Bard / Spellcaster / Druid-Cleric (in that order)
Character Idea: I normally go for wily, smooth-talking rogues or sulky-lone-ranger-in-the-wild type of characters, but I'd be willing to thread a little off-course here, maybe a human monk-druid ? Shaolin Kungfu meets Grove Protectors, or something along these lines... I have a previous character that would be perfect, a burly, bear-like, drunken, fist-fighting human druid named Drudhar Khar-Errendi. OR a tabaxi Rogue-Wizard, one Agamemnon Seven Stripes, that would be more on the smooth-talking yet scholarly / mischievious / fumbling end of the spectrum
' Rogues Will Be Rogues ' (Circle of Fives Admission Rules, § 6 par. IV) " Put It Down. Now. Or Be Sorry. " (D. Khar-Errendis' Reported Tips For Curing Soul Ailments And Assorted Bad Behaviours, v. LIV p.XIII) " Tween thisThy and yonThou, shall I prove to Thee that these art what thou dost see ? " (Grimoire of The Great Pananthyr) " This One has said enough. Now, we fight. This way please ?" (8th Grade Bronze Disciple Raulnar Drohjo, Way of the Open Palm)
Experience with the game: Played in about 10-12 sessions, but not a long running campaign. I know how to play the basics of almost all the classes.
Preferred style of play, and what you want out of a D&D game: I do not know just what I want from a D&D campaign just yet. I do love story, and believe that it can help sell any game if the combat is not all there. (not saying that is going to happen, just expierence with video games and such)
Preferred length of sessions: from 2-4 hours(hopefully with a bathroom/snack break)
Best time to play:WED from about 4-8 pm
Favorite Race:Half-elf,they seem like the most likely to go off on an adventure because they are not liked by either of the human or elf kind, so they have to find a home of thier own
Favorite Class: I do not have one yet.
Character Idea: I have a bunch. I have a Kenku monk who hates cats and is in constantly geting into quests by accident. I also have an earth genasi druid(?), not sure on the class just yet, who is scowering the world to make a meal with everything he can get his hands on. I have a tiefing ranger, who seeks to kill the things like him, so that his father will not have control over this world. I also have a trio of brothers, one is a half-elf fighter who wants to sail the world to prove that it is flat and that the planes are set up like a cake and not like a stream leading into multiple ponds, another is a black dragon born paladin who was a former luetenant in the military but now seeks to use what they taught him to bring peace into the world instead of conqueroring it, and the last brother is an air genasi wizard who seeks to find a way to defy fate and not become a full geni like his ancestors. And that is just to name a few.
Experience with the game: Decent Have a few games currently playing and ran a session myself
Preferred style of play, and what you want out of a D&D game: I like diversity and constant roleplay or action my preferred style of play style is ranged/magic but will explore the physical classes.
Preferred length of sessions: at least 2hrs if not more
Best time to play: Weekdays and Saturdays in the morning and afternoon
Favorite Race: Genasi
Favorite Class: Sorcerer Fire aspect or monk
Character Idea: Air genasi Warlock or Goliath monk
Experience with the game: 2 years spanning 3 campaigns
Preferred style of play, and what you want out of a D&D game: Fun, competitive, immersive. I want to enjoy the experience, and actually be able to get a character past level 6.
Preferred length of sessions: Any length. I enjoy DnD and can sit through a campaign all day.
Best time to play: Saturdays or early weekdays
Favorite Race: Firbolg
Favorite Class: Druid
Character Idea:
I have a character idea that I was running, but my game got shut down. He is a Firbolg Druid. His family was wiped out by raiders, and it left him alone in the forest to survive. He grew up protecting his new home and family. The forest fell to fire, and over hunting, and now he has been run off and into civilization to try and convince people to respect mother nature. To give back to the land. His intelligence will be his lowest stat. He's not to bright as he has lived in the forest all his life and didn't have anyone to teach him much of anything. This also correlates to his Charisma being the next lowest stat. No one to teach him social cues and niceties. He is wise. The forest has taught him wisdom beyond measure. Wisdom stat for the Druid being the highest. His game play style is animal before humans. He hates humans because they are the ones that destroyed his forest and home. All other races, he is neutral with as they are believed by him to be a type of fey or something totally different than human. He will try to tame or befriend most animals he sees especially if they are mistreated or in danger.
Experience with the game: played online years ago (magical girl campaign), and haven't had a group since; listen to TAZ and Critical Role!
Preferred style of play, and what you want out of a D&D game: Developing the campaign and characters comes first, but doing so naturally and over the course of time is very important so things don't feel so rigid and set up. I usually want to go into a D&D game and come out being better than before, and with a better understanding of how my character might develop and interact with the others
Preferred length of sessions: 2h+
Best Time to play: Anytime, usually! I get out of school before noon, and don't work.
Favorite Race: Tiefling
Favorite Class: Trickster Cleric / Bard / Rogue
Character Idea: A young tiefling girl who comes from a family of magic users, and, under all of the pressure to be like everybody else, runs away. Becoming a rogue, she currently tricks people in any town she visits to earn keep and stay for a day or two, get supplies, and so on.
Experience with the game: Played about 7 years ago with dad and brother
Preferred style of play, and what you want out of a D&D game: Questing and puzzles!
Preferred length of sessions: 2-3 hours
Best time to play: evenings during the week, but anytime on weekends
Favorite Race: Elves y'all
Favorite Class: Rogue
Character Idea: An ex thief running from the law. Almost like an outsider but comes in handy when least expected. I already made this character, but I'd be happy to make a new one! She is a high elf rogue
Experience with the game: A month! But I'm learning quickly!
Preferred style of play, and what you want out of a D&D game: I'm an author, so I LOVE focusing on character development and roleplaying while exploring the worlds that DMs so tirelessly create! I'm studying to be a DM myself :)
Preferred length of sessions: 3 hours to 4 hours
Best time to play: Sunday, Tuesday, Wednesdays from 8:30pm-12am. Fridays 12pm-5pm Saturdays 5pm-10pm
Favorite Race: Human
Favorite Class: Rogue
Character Idea: Lyric was kidnapped at the age of four by a notorious assassin's guild, along with other stolen children were given numbers instead of names and forced to train under cruel and merciless mentors to be weapons. 94 was a tool. An assassin who murdered for her captors, her skills being utilized as a terrifying weapon and at such a young age. She only did what she had to do to survive, and that was to obey. After suffering years of abuse, fear conditioning, and guilt of her crimes, she was finally able to escape. Now 19 and after three years on the r run, she continues to roam the world as a bounty hunter, only killing those who she knows for certain are evil and shes always sure to be under some sort of alias. After all, how else would she be able to evade those who have eyes everywhere and would do just about anything to get their precious 94 back? All Lyric longs for is to be free...

Hello everyone,
The name's Caleb, and I am a decently experienced DM. Most of my experience has come from irl games between my friends and I, over the last couple years. However, nowadays most of my friends no longer have the time to commit to a weekly game. So I am now looking to find some fun people to play with, and hopefully establish an on-going campaign over online. (one of my own creation). The game will most likely take place over discord (voice and video). I am still not sure on my preferred way of character sheet keeping (up for using D&D beyond, but using fill-out pdfs also could work). Further details can be discussed when I start inviting people.
