Game: D&D 5e Group preferred: Online Experience: New to online D&D in any form. Willing to download/use any format required for group Location/Timezone: Vancouver, BC Pacific Time Zone Availability: Wide open (recovering cancer patient, nothing but time on my hands) Preferred role: Player, willing to play any class. Don't mind playing a cleric at all, somewhat preferred actually. :) Game style: Casual game with some Role Playing is what I would think might suit me best.
PS. I am an older dude of 58 years. I played D&D with the original boxed set and played through until about the third edition, I think. So my pluses are: a bit of good experience with older mechanics, character creation, alignments, spell casting, and general game-play/role-playing. My short comings include, but are not limited to: no idea how to -play online, unfamiliar with current game mechanics, unfamiliar with cantrips, and having zero resources (books and guides).
I feel my shortcomings can be overcome in a very short time with some guidance and suggested reading.
