Hello DND Beyond forums, I'm here to tell you about the game we run and see if anyone might want to join us. Our game is a guild game, where a bunch of players who hang out on Discord (often gaming and socializing outside of DND Stuff too) make characters who are all part of the same adventuring guild. Players sign up each week they feel like playing with us, and form parties with their fellows to explore spectacular locations, confront terrible evils, and seek glory and riches. Our game has a unique form of organized play in place, where we focus on 'adventuring locations' to be explored over a number of weeks as constrained sandboxes, slowly unveiling major plot lines and organically allowing for the rotating cast of organized play in a shared world campaign that can include many players and multiple DMs.
You may enjoy our group if you:
- Enjoy being part of a group of tight knit friends.
- Enjoy a welcoming and inclusive space where we don't tolerate creeps and bigots.
- Enjoy the idea of getting to use points to pick out magic items, getting to use feats and multiclassing.
- Enjoy the idea of helping to playtest a richly detailed and uniquely mythical age-of-sail setting, where the gods are countless, and magic ebbs and flows by the light of the six moons.
- Enjoy a little anime-style flair in your fight scenes, and enjoy high magic setting in general.
- Enjoy telling personal stories about individuals who have many varied adventures alongside their adoptive family as they pursue their own goals.
If you're interested, go right ahead and fill out our Application, we'll be in touch! I should note we only take players 18 and over. I'll also add that we can always use DMs interested in working within such a setting as well!
