We run a bit of a different concept for d&d, we have a server that pc's join and the text rp all their stuff with other pc's and npc's out of combat.  You can find a dm or a dm will ask for pc's for a quest or encounter and you can join them with other players.  The entire server is very text rp driven.  Encounters/quests are ran depending on the Dm you have.  COuld be pure text, could be vc only, or could be a mix.  You are more then welcome to check it out and see if it interests you.
