Game: D&D 5e Group type: Online, theater of mind via Discord text & chat Experience: New, moderately experienced players welcomed; veterans not discouraged but first time DMing Location/Timezone: EST/available to any able to participate Schedule: Mondays at 5 pm Roles sought: 1-2 Players Game style: Informal but rule-driven. Encounters usually open-ended I brainstormed up a possibly quick-pace campaign that I would like to try running, set in the Forgotten Realms. The opening will be mostly standard fantasy, with horror aspects coming in later on. I would ideally like a group of 4, and whether I merge this with the two players I've gathered to try or run as a separate, concurrent group will depend mostly on response strength and availability. There will be effects of player decisions, but so far it's mostly a loose outline so I hope people would be willing to take a chance with me. (Updated) Faerun setting; the players have set out of Silverymoon on a quest to investigate the cessation of shipments from the city built up at Hellgate Dell, and lack of replies to communication magic. Currently the group is halfway through the hills to Sundabar, nearly level 2, but I keep running down to 3 players no matter how many I manage to recruit so I am reopening applications. People seem to just be getting busy with their lives on a Monday afternoon.
I am going to try to work with roll20, my experience with it is very limited though. Should poor internet speeds prevail I can try making simple illustrations through discord posts.
As most of the original applicants have dropped out, I'm accepting another 1 or 2 players at this time. Current party composition is a monk, a cleric, and a barbarian.
