I would really like to play with people who know the game since i'm really knew to this game and i would really like to learn it. I made a monk character sheet.

Your best bet is to find a comic book shop and ask if they have any days when they play D&D. You can usually find one pretty easily.

Your next best bet would be to search on places like Meetup and Craigslist to see if you can find any groups who are posting looking for players.

Lastly, if all else fails, you may be able to find an online game where they play through Skype or Discord.
