I am in the making of a new Homebrew atm. I have 2 years experience playing 5e as a player but this would be my first time as a DM. Minors and people of all ages are welcomed and encouraged. Roleplay and combat will both take place in this campaign. If you are interested in playing please reply with the details below.
Name, pronouns, age (if you are comfortable)
How long you have been playing (new players welcome)
Preferred character types (Race, class, background, alignment etc.)
Preferred way to play? (I will take feedback from players into consideration)
About yourself (Interests, hobbies, times available, etc.)
My available times vary but would be catered towards the group. I'm available Fridays 6-10 EDT, Saturdays 5-12 EDT, and Sundays 4-7 EDT. Reply with a way to contact you (Skype, Discord, Instagram, etc.)
I’ve been playing d&d for about a year now. I tend to stick with the human, elven, and Aasimar races. Must be from all the video games haha.
The preferred way to play for me is to have a story heavy with combat in it. Like a 2:1 ratio.
I’m trying to be an actor so you might hear me miserably failing at accents but practice makes perfect. I also like to play video games that are more fantasy/story based with fighting in it. If it’s on the weekends, I am in the pacific time zone so the more late for you the better for me. If possible I’d like to do a 6pm pacific time. If not I can be a bit flexible with it. I usually have work until 3 so I’d like some time to get home and get comfortable.
How long you have been playing: I am playing 5e since 4-5 years (basically started upon release in 2014 I believe)
Preferred character types: I played pretty much everything except druids. All my characters are neutral in alignment, I do not like to be forced into certain behavior pattern when playing, I believe it's best to let the storyline determine how my character will change and develop (obviously the starting point and initial behavior pattern is determined by the background story of the character)
Preferred way to play?
This is what I enjoy experiencing in a campaign:
1) Balance between encounters and everything else (I find campaigns with pretty much only combat as boring as campaigns with too little combat);
2) Interaction between character storylines and the campaign storyline.
3) Rules are crucial but the story and the adventure are what role-playing games are built on. Common sense is very important when applying rules. Extreme example: Player: My sword was damaged in the last fight can I use mend on it? DM: no the cantrip says you can repair only one crack/tear, yours have two (obviously different if the sword is broken in half). Me: facepalm.
4) Decisions don't always have to be between obviously good actions and obviously evil actions. I love when situations with no win-win scenarios present themselves forcing the party to actually debate what's the best path to take/side to help.
5) Ability from every player to communicate reasonably well in the same language. I am not a native English speaker but have played campaigns in English before and it was really hard to involve, interact and joke with players that weren't able to follow the narration or a conversation with an NPC or between the characters.
About yourself (Interests, hobbies, times available, etc.): The time windows you posted actually work quite well for me. Interests and hobbies is a veeery broad question (lol) but obviously I love to feed the nerdy best inside me with a lot of d&d and roleplaying games.
Hi, I would like to give this a try if that's alright.
My name's Alexis and I go by she/her, 19 years old living in Canada (EST zones) if that matters
This would be my first time playing so I will need a bit of time to help adjust and figure out all the rules, and will be looking up on tutorials and whatnot so I can understand what to do in combat
I have been coming up with ideas for a character that I might like to use; typically I lean towards classes that don't involve healing and are more in your face which I think would translate to fighters, barbarians, but I would also like to try a wizard or warlock. I would probably stick to either neutral good, chaotic neutral or chaotic good but I'm not sure, those are just the character types I can see myself playing as. Race wise I wouldn't go for something more humanoid but more out there like the tiefling races, maybe half-orc, kenku, warforged, etc., if that is alright and fits into the campaign.
Currently I work 32 hours a week saving up for University that I am going to be attending in the coming fall, and on the side I like to play video games like Overwatch, Town of Salem, I have a softspot for the Sims series as well. Also I like to do some sketching/art projects for personal use in my freetime though I don't think I am that adapt in that field. I enjoy watching videos on YouTube including channels like Vanoss, OhmWrecker, Critical Role and also watch shows like Young Justice, Game of Thrones, Breaking Bad, Castlevania and others.
Name, pronouns, age (if you are comfortable) Al, He/Him, 34
How long you have been playing (new players welcome) I've been playing 5e for over a year and I've played 3.0 and 3.5.
Preferred character types (Race, class, background, alignment etc.) I can play any race, I prefer to play tanks or DPS - mostly rangers and fighters, but I don't mind playing spellcasters if the group needs one.
Preferred way to play? (I will take feedback from players into consideration) I like playing with a mix of roleplaying and combat.
About yourself (Interests, hobbies, times available, etc.) I currently work as a sports writer for a weekly newspaper, so my Fridays and Saturdays are busy right now. Sundays are my best day, but I might be available on Friday, depending on what games are happening. You can contact me on Discord at althebard.

Hi. I'm interested.
Name: Adam
He/him
Age: 19
Been playing for over a year. I tend to prefer more monsterous races like Orcs, Lizardfolk and Kobolds.

I'm pretty easy when it comes to gameplay so long as there is a decent balance between combat and rp.
