Game: D&D 5e Group Preferred: Online Experience: 20+ years of TTRPG, been playing 5e almost exclusive since its release Location/Timezone: Eastern US Availability: 5:00- 10:00 M, W, Th, Fri Game Style: I prefer a story. If the RP is driving a story, or if combat is driving the story it doesnt really matter as long as the story is good and engaging.
I prefer a open world environment where my choices as a player matter. If I make a case to the group to go south or north or whereever we have the ability to do that and explore. In other words the DM hasnt laid out the game and we have no choice but to play whatever that is.
I like to voice characters and have very in depth backstories that influence the game world in some way. How does my character being a noble or criminal influence the scene?
My games are plot driven but I will do as much or as little roleplaying as the player/group wishes. This game I'm trying to set up is very experimental for me and the players can end up anywhere doing anything that they wish as long as you can survive. This is based in the "real world" so there are no magic items (mostly, subject to change if you can convince me it makes sense), no non human races, only ritual magic and not even that when the game begins.
I am a player that tends to play spellcasters. I enjoy them a lot.
I also enjoy voicing my character as well.
I appreciate the invite, but this doesnt sound like the game for me. However, if you need help with some of the experimental parts, I can help with tips and tricks on running a full open ended game.
I run 2 of them every week.
